Here Nova...I cut/pasted the addendum from VSE for you... of course it helps to view it as a .pdf so you can see the pictures... Revision A. 03/01/2009 Infinity Owner’s Manual Supplement 1. Please note: we are no longer operating in Washington! Please do not send mail or parcel to the address printed in the user manual. Instead, we can be contacted here: Velocity Sports Equipment, Inc. PO Box 3370 Bend, OR 97707 Phone: 253-445-8790 Fax: 253-445-8792 2. To improve the function and effectiveness of an AAD triggered reserve deployment, we have moved the location of the AAD cutter. Note that it was previously located on flap #1 below the pilot chute; we have moved it to flap number 2, above the pilot chute. To protect the cutter and reduce visibility, we have begun installing reserve pilot chutes with recessed caps. As always, there is no specific pilot chute orientation, it will function as designed, in any rotation around the closing loop axis. Pilot chutes with recessed caps may be used with cutters located below the pilot chute. It is not mandatory to have your AAD cutter located above the pilot chute. Should you have an Infinity with the cutter below the pilot chute, and desire to have it fitted above the pilot chute, please contact us and we will do our best to schedule a retro fit in a timely manner. Below the Pilot Chute (Old) Above the Pilot Chute (New)

Well for one they should totally scrap the existing space shuttle (It's still running 80386 processors for the love of ..) If space exploration is as viable as the president thinks, then a new tranportation vessel should be constructed to keep up with the times.

I live in south texas. I few years ago I was coming home late one night and I saw something in the sky. It was so vibrant I got out of my car and watched it track across the sky. It looked like a giant sparkler...which was bright at the tip and it looked like it had smoke dissapating from the rear. I was sure it was a comet, until I went home and called the sherrif's department and they told me it was the space shuttle coming in to land in Florida.

So who would they sue? Mother nature? Last time I heard she had Johnny Cochran as her attorney.

God looks like Bill Murray? I would've never known! -
Well I'm sure that just about anybody with higher jump number could out track me anyday. But I have been using some advice my instructors gave me when I was first learning how to track... and that is to roll your shoulders forward which should flatten your body and help out with my tracking. I appreciate the assistance.

Phantm jumpsuits are a scam - DON'T ORDER ONE!!
regulator replied to k-dubjumps's topic in The Bonfire
I hope your order gets itself sorted out. Perhaps you could try this company http://www.deepseed.com/skydiving_equipment/freefly/freeflysuit.php when you get your money refunded. -
Mine is a bit similar except I used white with the Black/Blue Option...

I suppose the reason this question has been brought up is because I read that most Sabre 2's have 500-800 feet of snivel and was trying to figure out if the devices I am using to determine my snivel are inaccurate or if there is another factor that could be leading to such a short snivel. Thanks for any input you have provided.

Well now that that's over it's now time to look over at the girl with big boobs... and yes you said that out loud...

Perhaps if you're a chick but in my opinion watching two dudes all sweaty grabbing each other on the ground is not only gay but LAME. Thank you try again

Volcanic ash damages machinery. The effect on jet aircraft engines is particularly severe as large amounts of air are sucked in during combustion operation, posing a great danger to aircraft flying near ash clouds. Very fine volcanic ash particles (particularly glass-rich if from an eruption under ice) sucked into a jet engine melt at about 1,100 °C, fusing onto the blades and other parts of the turbine (which operates at about 1,400 °C). They can erode and destroy parts, drive it out-of-balance, and cause jams in rotating machinery. The effect on the operation of a jet engine is often to cause it to cut out—failure of all a plane's engines is common. The standard emergency procedure when jet engines begin to fail had been to increase power, which makes the problem worse. The best procedure is to throttle back the engines, and to lose height so as to drop below the ash cloud as quickly as possible. The inrush of cold, clean air is usually enough to cool, solidify, and shatter the glass, unclogging the engines.

I have been pondering a question since I've gotten current and wanted a little clarification. I am 5'11 and weigh approximately 155 lbs. I jump a Sabre 2 190 wingloaded at approximately .97. I have been doing some simple tracking jumps recently to maintain my currency and the last 5 jumps I had, I have pulled at 4,000. Whenever I refer to my altitrack to log my jumps it shows me in the saddle at approximately 3,850. I asked another experienced jumper about this and he told me if that was accurate then the opening would have completely rocked my world. So its possible that since I wave off at 4,500 I could have pulled slightly higher than 4,000. But even if that did happen it seems that the snivel rate is still short OR my altitrack isn't accurate determining when I am in the saddle accurately. So it brings me to this question: Is your snivel rate shortened by your wingloading, or more of the characteristics purported by the canopy design, or possibly a combination of both of these attributes? And if I do encounter a 500 foot snivel why would my altitrack show it was at approximately 150 feet?

Noob Question about maintaining a nice arch..
regulator replied to Prodigus's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I weigh 150 lbs soaking wet and I'm 5'11. If I don't arch like a mo-fo on exit I will surely become unstable. I think since I'm so light and I often have to arch harder in order to keep up with others similar in weight and will float more if my arch isn't as defined as it should be. I think there may be some merit to having a little more in the midsection area to have a more comfortable arch. -
You can debate this issue til the cows come home and nothing will resolve the fact that a vast majority of the wars in history had something to do with religion and many, many people died because of their beliefs as to who the 'better' god was. I believe in god, but my relationship with him is private and I don't go out and admonish people because they don't believe in my particular god. Why can't everyone accept that more than one people's belief in god could be vastly different than someone else and just leave it at that...then go jump together. If we could get all the religious leaders to get some quality skydives in, we could create our own religion.

Amazing ... both front wheels come off F1 car....
regulator replied to shropshire's topic in The Bonfire
Oh snap...I wonder how much of a transition it is from F1 to Rally cars. I know Juan Pablo Montoya has transitioned to Sprint Cup relatively well, but from F1 to Rally seems to be a big transition. -
