To quote Eddie Murphy... "Wasn't me." "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

I have no recollection of the events your are referring to. Oh and it's for sale (along with my Z1), so if ya know someone my size that needs one, I'll give 'em a good deal. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

That's a funny looking suit ya got on there. All tight & with those grippy things. What are they for? "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

You forgot the most important one (and the one that'll get the hotties laughing) "GET IN MY BELLY!!!" And you know I don't mean any offense by that.

I'm somewhere in the middle-to-heavy side of things. My current jumpsuit is pretty baggy, especially the legs. The suit has been really helpful, particularly as I've been learning head down. The one thing I've found, however, is that the extra bagginess in the legs really hoses my sit/stand. I can do it, but it's a real struggle. So I'm thinking of picking up a pair of FF pants and working with that a little. My guess is that my sit/stand will return to semi-normal but I'll have to work more on HD again because I have less leg drag to rely on. Once I get a feel for it, I hope it will be a better general-purpose solution. The suit will still be good for "slow" flying. What I'm coming to find, at least with me, is that clothing to the freeflier is sort of like golf clubs to the golfer... you need to pick the right item to suit the situation. Of course the really good freefliers can fly any way in anything. But I'm not there yet. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

So that's why I wake up with a weird taste in my mouth. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

Man you could do some serious BASE off that thing. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

OK I'm going to show my Star Wars Geek stripes here but I don't think it'll play out that way. Remember in ROTJ when Luke asked Leia what his mother was like she replied that she didn't recall much, but did remember that she was "beautiful, but sad". We also know that Anakin didn't know about Leia until he sensed it from Luke. We've seen how Anakin reacted when his mother was taken from him. So my guess is somehow Padme is going to be taken from him by the Jedi. After all, relationships are forbidden so my guess is the Jedi are not going to react well to the marriage and pregnancy. Now she probably will wind up dying, since Leia's memory is so hazy that tells me Padme wasn't around long enough to raise her. So I dunno how this is going to play out. On the one hand, she has to be around long enough for Leia to at least have a brief memory of her. But at the same time, she probably won't be around Anakin to tell him about the children. Plus why would she voluntarily give up one of her children to be split up? Too many questions. We'll get the answers in afew years. Tom Petty? I can see it now. He'd be covered in eggs and rotten tomatoes before he even got the second note to "Freefallin'" out. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

That would make for some really cool video/pics... especially if it came off right.

And a partridge in a pear tree.... "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

Ya they run Thursday thru Tuesday. My guess is the compulsory draw will be Wed. or Thurs., Trent would know that. You just need to submit video for the two compulsory rounds and one open round. You can do them whenever during that period and just submit your best video. So yeah I think we can squeeze the other stuff in there. And if it gets too crazy, you only need to do 2 out of the three weekends so we can skip this one if need be. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

Bill, Thanks for that story. It is nice to get a story with a happy ending for a change. And kudos to Molly for hanging tough during her recovery and finally getting back in the sky.

Because I was at a DZ that I'm not at super-frequently, I was finding my swoop setups a little more difficult. So a couple of times, I was a little higher than I wanted to be at my swoop point so I wound up doing sort of a 2-stage 90/90 turn instead of a 180. What surprised me was that I was able to generate wicked speed both times I tried it. And it was a pretty non-radical, controlled approach. What I'm still trying to figure out is if this was just a coincidence or that in fact doing a two-stage "swoop" might be an effective method for generating a lot of forward speed. Thoughts? 0:6:2 No comment on the first number. My 300th was also my first CASA jump, so that's a double-beer. Jumps were fun, but I'm kinda feeling like I'm in a rut progress-wise (see Dock Block thread in the FF forum). Did manage some really nice long surfs out of my canopy though.

LOL. I think Chris needs to send that one in to Parachutist as well. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

Amen to that. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

I'm officially at another impasse in my freeflying. I can fairly regularly get within 10 -15 feet of another flier in head down but I just can't seem to bring myself to close that last bit of distance. I've talked ot a fair number of freefliers about this and seems to be a pretty common "phase". I have a similar, though less pronounced problem sitflying. I can give a toe dock, but can't really hold it. Haven't succesfully done a thigh or shoulder dock. Just from thinking about it a bit, if someone comes up and docks on me, it's no big deal. I just can't seem to do it myself. I'm pretty certain it's a mental block... not wanting to crash into the other person, wanting to be smooth and steady. So I know I'm not being aggressive enough. So anyway, for those of you that had similar problems how did you get past it? Were there any drills that helped? "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."

My machine has been getting pounded by the Klez virus. Seems like one, sometimes two or three, is showing up in my mailbox every day. Thank God for PC-Cillin. "Zero Tolerance: the politically correct term for zero thought, zero common sense."
