    I'm a Static Line graduate, and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have become a skydiver any other way. AFF would have stressed me out, mentally and financially. I never paid for coach jumps and got a used rig from my instructor as well. It's not the newest and prettiest, but it works great. Some people will swear AFF is the way to go, others say the same thing about Satic Line. I think it depends on the person.     My situation wasn't a matter of one of my parents simply not loving the other one. My dad was simply a drunk jerk-wad who didn't love HIMSELF. My sister and I would have been better off not growing up with that. It depends on what we're talking about by not loving someone anymore. Sometimes people define love by how they "feel" towards the other person. Marriage and love are not all about feelings. Any one who's married long enough is not always going to feel loving towards the other one. That's just life. Marriage takes maintainence (sp) and a lot of it. It's sad that some folks take better care of their cars than they do their relationships To the original poster: I'm not sure if this is what you were talking about, or if it goes a lot deeper. Relationships are very complex and I'm not trying to say this is simple or easy. Mrs. WaltAppel All things work together for good to them that love God...Romans 8:28

    During Skyfest 2005, I was in San Marcos taking ground school. I remember thinking to myself "I will be there next year." Boy, time sure flies! Besides Skyfest being a blast, it was impressive to see the bond between Skydivers, and the way everyone helped eachother out. As we were dirtdiving for my SCR, I was overwhelmed at how so many pulled together to make it happen. One of these days I'll be good enough to help someone else get their SCR, and it will be just as much fun if not more. Skyfest was Truly an outstanding experience. Thanks to everyone!!     ***It's amazing that with Texas heat...a "little" beer being poured on you can make it REAL cold all of the sudden __________________________________________________ That's funny, I was actually thinking about that during the ceremony. Jumpjunkie2004 and I were clinging to eachother, shivering something awful. And I was thinking about how just a few hours before, I was sitting on a plane with all my gear on, wishing someone would pour something cold on me.
