  1. And more importantly is she single? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  2. Do you mean DZOs instead of skydivers? I don't think most skydivers would put something up on the company website without DZO approval. Then again I'm young in the sport and haven't seen as much as many of you. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  3. Pre ordered and picking it up after work, may call in sick tomorrow. Look me up online, screen name is KansasCrew "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  4. Well I finally got it done. He went in last Thursday and I picked him up that afternoon. He was a little tired, but by the evening he was back to his good old self. Total with all the bloodwork and stuff came out to $225-250 I think. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 5. I didn't find it in the search yet. (Hump:Jumps:Beer) 0:11:1 11 Fun jumps at the 3rd Annual All Kansas Cessna Boogie. 3 C-182 it was great 5 - freefly 2 - 4 way jump 1 - tandem video 1 - 11 way which turned into a 10 way 1 - 3 way video 1 - wingsuit jump (1st time taking 2 wingsuits out a c182, but nobody could call either of us on it) Beer owed for 600th jump. Edited: Forgot to put mine in. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 6. Nice what was the name of that song? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  7. 0:3:1 The weather wasn't very cooperative, so a slow weekend. 1 - Tandem lurk 1 - Video a 3 way 1 - H&P Beer for 1st time forgetting to bring my battery charger for my stills camera. Camera died and when the weather got better I couldn't shoot tandem vids on Sunday because I didn't have my charger, IDIOT! Some other people offered me their cameras, but I declined but appreciated the offer. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 8. 1st come 1st serve last time I used them. Are you going to be there in November or October? I need to make my way down their to pick up some pants that one of their packers was making me. 9. I just got back from lunch. Today I cooked some fish and brown rice. It was glorious. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  10. I'm trying to figure out if I can do something in Excel. I've searched the help and can't find anything. I've attached the spreadsheet I'm using. Is it possible to change Column "A" to "Name" Column "B" to "SR" so on and so on or not? Thanks for any help "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  11. Yep it's true. What a shame. Clicky "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  12. Safe for work and hysterical. I did a search and didn't find it so I hope this isn't a repost. Clicky "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  13. Mykel I wasn't sure if I was going to put it in or not. I decided not to. Even if people do a tandem progression system after the 1st few (3 here) we start going with an AFF instructor for X number of jumps. So even though it's technically not AFF progression I figured people would lump it into AFF. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 14. So does your DZ use an SOS system for cutaways while going through the student progression or do they use a 2 handle (cutaway and reserve) system? Vote and if you feel like it let us know where you are from. Thanks Edit: Changed title a little. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. 15. 0:8:0 Only 8 this weekend due to low clouds allowing no loads on Sunay 4 tandem videos 4 FF videos "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  16. Rosa you are too modest. I've never met Katee but did have the pleasure of meeting Rosa in 2005. WOW! She is extremely beautiful. I'm 27 in a college town and I'd take you anyday over those 20 year old girls. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  17. Bill can you tell me some of the reasons for it? I've never been on a plane (Elsinore, Perris, Z-Hills, Skydive Dallas) where a go around wasn't given if requested. Just curious that's all. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  18. Shaun I'm confused. So does the green light always mean go? Just because they've got GPS in the big planes doesn't make the spot right or does it? Plus what's wrong with asking for a go around if you are in the front of the plane and get a bad spot? PS: Happy belated birthday. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  19. Very nice. I have a 2005 R1 and I love it. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  20. What happened to the other 4? What kind is it in the picture. It's too small for me to tell. Thanks "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  21. Thanks. Did you wait a long time before the first cleaning or did you maintain them well and they just fell out? "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  22. After the last vet appointment the vet said I should get Roxton's teeth cleaned. He's 3.5 years old and we haven't needed to do it yet. The vet said that they use an anesthesia on the little guy. Has anyone ever had their dog's teeth cleaned where the pup was knocked out? Any ill effects afterwards? He was put under when he got the boys clipped and that went ok, but I'm just a little nervous putting him out for a tooth cleaning. Thanks "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  23. I've often wondered why people do this, but I don't know if it's less effective or not. I'll have to thumb through my notes from one of Germain's canopy classes and see if he mentions it and why. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  24. Well Pirana let's not forget the source, which isn't the mainstream media. It's Germain. The guy travels and meets a ton of jumpers every year. He is far more qualified to say (based off of people in the skydiving community he has met) what some consider to be a "dreaded" fear, then people with limited experience like you and I. Edited to change for grammar. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
  25. If the quoted text describes you, it might be time to reconsider skydiving. Or learn what to do and Brian is trying to educate through the article. I like no wind landings, but that doesn't mean everybody is going to. Just because it's our cup of tea doesn't mean it's the same for everyone. "You start off your skydiving career with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience up before your bag of luck runs out."
