I load my Hornet 190 at 1.18:1 Next summer that should be 0.95:1 on teh same canopy.....ohhh I should be so lucky

The gentleman who started the Andem Progression program with me passed out on 4 out of 5 tries under tandem. The one time he didn't pass out was because he refused to jump in the door and they rode the plane down. Every time he would be fine during freefall, but would pass out while under canopy....

Every week, when you grow up in a country which has been occupied during the last world war, you get innundated with stories, you grow up respecting those who fought for you and paying respect to those who lost loved ones..... None. And since I am dutch, I also. do not agree with the conduct of the dutch in Afrika. Am especially sad that apartheid is a dutch word, which cannot be translated in any other language. To me that is pretty sad, and certainly not a laughing matter in any way.......

Sorry, I don't think that is very funny. To me that ranks up theer as making fun of people who died on Sept 11/01. Then again, I grew up knowing people who's parents and grand parents were killed during WWII. My grand parents fought either in the army or in the resistance. Try making some jokes about 9-11, I dare you see if this american dominated forum will apreciate those........ Argghhhh, I think I maybe in a bad mood as well

Hey diver, if I rent a car for both Thursday and Friday, I may be able to spend Thu afternoon at Elsinore and friday whole day at Perris. Or we can carpool on Thursday and I rent a car on friday...many possibilities here. I am staying at the Westin South Coast Plaza, my conference ends Thursday at noon....yeah baby, until then I will have to have dinner at the portofino Yacht Club and listen to the COO of Macerich babble on.... I'd rather be skydiving........

Hello guys and girls, Looks like I will be at Perris on Friday Sept 20th for a day of jumping. I am in Costa Mesa for conference during that week and flying back on the Saturday. It looks like I will rent a car and drive down to Perris, unless someone else has a better/cheaper option or suggestion for me. Sooooooo, who of the regular dz.commers might I have the pleasure of meeting? Look forward to it......

I am still not sure as to why it took 8 hours for rescue to find him. The only thing I can think of is, he was a solo, last out of the plane and the pilot had to make an emergency landing....do we know if this is true?

canopy collision french airshow??????

I just got the end of a news story on tv as I was getting home. Watched the end of a canopy collision and the subsequent impact of one of the skydivers under a partially collapsed parachute. He landed on what appeared to bea runway or ather paved road. The news report ended saying that "miraculously" the parachutist was currently listed in stable condition and that the other one walked away from the incident..... Anybody else see this or have more information?? certainly not nice to watch this guy bounce on the news..... -
Funny, I am in Canada and I have the same thing though my benefits at work. I can go to any doctor (those seeing new patients) or specialist, get dental, vision, long term and short term disability and life insurance for myself and my dependents. I don't pay a cent for that.........But, those less fortunate people in Canada can actually get some health care without going bankrupt, or maybe even being refused. Health care is great in the US for those who can afford it, it is downright terrible for those whoc annot. Health care in Canada maybe a notch below that level, but at least it is available for everybody....even those who only think about themselves..............
