  1. Are you planning on sharing her with everybody? Because that is the only reason I can think of why you would care what others think...... If you think she is beautiful, then she is beautiful.
  2. And that is where the whole argument lies for me. There is a definite argument to be made that this could be construed as an unprovoked act of aggression, even if the most vocal posters on this board do not agree with that.
  3. Dave, as an historical scholar you must be worried about the fact that all so called "super-powers" in history got to a point of thinking they were almighty, flexing their musles at will, before they died off? I would think that as an historical scholar you would have some serious reservations with the plan of action the US has been following, since in history it has always led to disaster.
  4. True, however in Chretien's case he is certainly not vocalizing the support part, au contraire mon ami. Personally I think he should. The decisions has been made, now is the time to support our closest ally and biggest trade partner.
  5. Actually I am not sure if we are disagreeing on that, never made a statement pro or con regarding that. I have no love for suicide bombers and if this helps it could be a worthwile action. Killing some one in the process kind of degrades it, though I strongly think that it may have been an accident.
  6. My apologies for misquoting you, so you called her NUTS [sarcasm]well that just changed everything [/sarcasm]
  7. And I am sure that is a valid point. This lady was doing something that had been successfully done in the past and had stopped (albeit only in the short run) bulldozers from destroying homes. This time something went wrong and she got killed. Whether or not I agree with her beliefs, it still does not warrant calling her stuping IMHO.
  8. Might be, but then again it was used to get other people to think. To me calling Rachel stupid was not very thought out.
  9. Some of us did that when you called that lady stupid.
  10. Ouch, guess I have been lucky then. See you the first weekend in May, looking forward to doing some jumps with you.
  11. The passengers of the plane that crashed in Pensylvania during September 11th, 2001 in all likelihood saved some one's house, whether it was their daytime "house" or their night time "house". I certainly would not call that act senseless.....
  12. As one of your neighbours from the north, I am saddened by the remarks made by our Prime Minister ( I am further saddened by the fact that the Iraqi Information Minister speaks better English than him, but that is beside the point). Whatever Chretien might be saying, we are replacing most US troops in Afghanistan to free them for the war in Iraq, we have Canadian soldiers fighting under US command and we have Navy Ships running general security patrol in the area. On one side he is saying we do not agree, on the other side we are certainly aiding the effort. Personally I think Chretien is an idiot. I hope this war is swift and all involved come home safe....... edited for spelling, grammar etc.....
  13. Sure is, arriving May 2nd for the season. BTW, there are some gear dealers who are willing to work with the no duty thing........
  14. Nope, just seemed oddly out of place, is all.
  15. Hey Nick, Not sure if there is anybody selling them in Ontario. prob just as easy to buy one in the US. BTW, hope to see you again this summer so we can do some more jumps together.....
  16. Hey Mark, Question for you: Why does it say Guadalcanal on the 1 in the watermark of that supposed letter? Guadalcanal is on of the Solomon Islands and used to house a Japanese airbase in WWII. Well, before it was conquered by the Americans. Still, it doesn't really seem to fit here......
  17. This is not in reply to Bill, just happened to be the last post, but I think we are comparing the wring items. The Cypres is not similar to a seat belt. In my mind, your mandated reserve is similar to the seat belt. A Cypres would be more like the airbag, it may help or it may kill, but it is a choice we can all make for ourselves.

    So sad....

please don't be sorry for posting your feelings. I think it is good for everybody to see the many facets of this conflict. I wish you all the luck and strength possible and hope that your husband will safely return to you as I do for all the families of those soldiers fighting on all sides of this conflict.
  19. See, and I think they are great and was wondering why they were not working anymore. Then I deleted all my cookies, files etc etc, restarted my computer and now it is working again, reliable and usefull.

    So sad....

Mmm, you do realize that the US really isn't old enough to have old cities, whether they knock anything down or not. You do realize that in many other parts of the world massive cities had already been built before the US was "discovered". ??????
  21. Well, the problem seems to have fixed itself.....
  22. Hopefully I can get this accross correctly, When I enter a forum (really doesn't matter which one) it indicates with yellow icons those posts/replies that are new, which is a great feature to have. Then when I read a thread and use the "jump to forum" button it used ot be that it would still show unread messages. Now by doing that, it marks all messages as read, eventhough they certainly aren't. For me all the different forums on dz.com are doing it. Hopefully it can be changed back, since this way it is really hard to keep track of posts you have read and those you have not and to see if there is a new post to a thread. Thanks, Justin
