  1. wow, quite the story and awesome save. I understand that we will never know, but I wonder what would have been the outcome if both of you would ahve deployed your reserve without cutting away?
  2. One more from me, congratulations!!!!!!!!!
  3. bump, I agree and Thanks... Wow, not whore worthy that is for sure, that could ahve easily been three posts
  4. OK count me in, am running at on my work laptop intel celeron, but I am helping. Every little bit helps right.... If yours is not listed andy, it may be part of the genome@home project. Under configure "advanced" you can indicate your preferences: F@H, G@H or no preference. Justin
  5. very true, but don't you at least consider it a little hypocritical to first sell a country something, then tell them to get rid of it and then invade that same country for not getting rid of what you sold them in the first place? If all the reported items are correct, it is at least odd to say the least.

    GOT IT!!!!!

    Congrats Mike, that's awesome.....
  7. from a report here: cbc.ca clicky I guess in the end only time will tell. News is being reported in such a rappid fire way that certainly not everything is verified before it is aired..... edited to try and make clicky work
  8. I jump a Hornet 190 and the same thing happnes to me on pretty much all my jumps.
  9. What helps me is running 10 and 1. Run for 10 and then walk for 1 minute etc etc. Started by building it up from 2 and 1 to 5 and 2 etc etc Now I can easily run 30 minutes straight, but I actually have better times running 10 and 1.
  10. I know several runners who use Microsoft Streets and Trips for this purpose. You can map out routes and it will tell you exactly the distance.

    Booooom

I don't have one of those super passes or whatever they are called, so cnn is out for me.

    Booooom

Tho only one I have been able to find is through msnbc and it is down right now.
  13. SkyRose, I would recommend to talk to the shoe store sales person, but go to a store specialized in running. I am only familiar with the ones up here in Canada, but there must be some near you. I just started running two months ago if that, but abolutely love it. my personal best on 3.12 miles (5K) is 29.23 minutes. I know I can do much better, but just takin' it slow and trying to build up. You are right though, running rocks........
  14. Come on, when you look at that list, it is not that impressive. Especially since the majority of countries on that list are asking for money at the same time or are trying to get into NATO.
  15. And I can hide behind the fact that English is not my first language
  16. I think in many ways it was enforcing many of the things it said, just not in the way or speed the US wanted it to be done.
  17. I agree, though the US decided not to put it to a vote, so we really will never know the outcome of that possibility.
  18. very true. Damn did we just end a discussion without getting into name calling and walking away from the computer mad....... I think we should get a ribbon or something
  19. LOL, we agree on the same thing, the cyclictic nature of history. You see it as a strong case for the war. I see it as what could possibly lead us down a terrible road.
  20. I know you meant a different resolution number, so I wont get into that Whether or not the UN was willing to uphold those resolutions (including 1441 this past Fall), is up for debate as well. I think it is fair to say that it wasn't going fast enough for the US' liking, but the UN was certainly following those resolutions. Certainly far more than the LoN did to uphold theirs. Hence, IMHO it is still not a valid comparison.
  21. Nope, like you did not see the similarity between your list of fallen nations and the US, I do not see the link between your argument and the current situation (Saddam and Hitler or other tirants). Hence we can just disagree, without you trying to scold me.
  22. That may be the case, but do not be upset that people get mad when the US on its own decides which non compliant nations it decides to invade.
  23. I am getting a little sick of this argument, since it is so incredibly invalid. I do not agree with Saddam, let's clea rthat up first, but at least use valid arguments. There are scores of world leaders, past and preasent, whod id not comply with world bodies (LoN or UN) and nothing was ever done. Hence, it is a rather invalid argument to use for the war againt Iraq. Furthermore, I don't think that comparing Hitler and Saddam is comparing apples to apples, but that is just my opinion.
  24. I truly hope you are not directing your rant at me, that you just happened to hit the reply button and I was the last post. The question for me has never been if Saddam is a bad man, the question is how the western world is dealing with it.
  25. True and since I have not posted a personal opinion on this matter, we may not even disagree..... Now bring on the boobies
