  1. I am asking this, mainly cause I am too lazy to look it up but does anybody know: 1) how many illegal people are employed in the US? 2) how many people are looking for a job?
  2. Hmm, I am looking to see where I wrote: rushmc said... and I cannot find it. Nice try Twist, spin and move. Twist, spin and move. I have been dying to ask though.....how often do you enjoy yourself?
  3. Exactly, questioning anything the WHite House does is decidedly un-patriotic. As a matter of fact, those voicing their concerns with the current administration should be segregated from society and kept in camps. I mean, really, nobody knows what those unpatriotic "almost terrorists" are capable of doing if not kept in check....
  4. WalMart worldwide will soon be selling a billion USD a DAY. I think they are out to win World Domination Funny enough, their stock really hasn't moved over the years.
  5. My girlfriend'f former boy friend was a firefighter and had given her a nice window sticker from the fire fighter's union. For soe reason she never gets a ticket. I haven't had a ticket in a long time. The last time was court for doing 105 in a 50 zone.
  6. Which is why the Supreme Court left the door open. If you as the party host continue to serve a guest, knowing he/she is intoxicated and knowing he/she has to drive you can still be held liable.
  7. Which brings us back to a the argument about which lie is worse. I don't believe there are any adults who don't lie.
  8. Which also made America the laughing stock of the world. There is no other country in the world where it's citizens in the slightest are interested whether their head of state got head or not. Most citizens in other countries think there are more important things to worry about and focus effort and money on.
  9. I agree Michele. I was refering back to the attitude of some of the posters on teh thread, which probably reflects the feelings of many.
  10. I take it he is constantly yelling at all his colleagues, editors, owners, bosses too, or only on the show so he can get some ratings as a political Jerry Springer show?
  11. I would have him have some common courtesy and not yell at all. Now I understand that for the Fox crowd, equal is identical to fair and balanced.
  12. Ohh okay, if it is frequently displayed behaviour it automatically becomes "fair and balanced"? I take it you are a frequent viewer?
  13. yup. In canada it is: 1st down 2nd down punt In your case it would be: 1st down 2nd down 3rd down punt
  14. because with money and power comes privilege.
  15. How can you quote but not make a clicky....it is the exact same action...just a different "button"
  16. Agreed, I hope he can kick the habit.
  17. He just checked himself into rehab...so, looks like there is a bit of family tradition.....
  18. Funny, they played Canadian Football at a US university?
  19. I wonder if John Rich got a hard on from the gun or the tits...
  20. I am not criticising. I think it has played a bit of a role. I also think it is perfectly understandable. ON the second note, I did know people who perished and those that came close on that day. For the other that posted after you and have gone completely overboard....nobody is saying he shouldn't havebeen jailed. Nobody is saying he is a good guy. Get your heart rate back under control and try to make some sense...
  21. true, but what if it is in the form of sleepwalking? Can you be held liable for something you are not consciously doing? I agree with Lawrocket...one standard for all. Though in the real world it really doens't seemt o happen that way. The more money or power you have, the more you can get away with.
  22. I don't know...but it certainly isn't similar to what happened to the lady who assaulted an officer after more or less demanding special treatment... Edited to add: I am sure officers are trained in detecting the scent of alcohol. Maybe he indicated he had taken a prescription sleep aid after being questioned? That combined with the fact that he wouldn't have smelled of alcohol would be a decent reason not to give a sobriety test.
  23. I think that most certainly has played a role. What scares me a bit is people saying, well he should be jailed for what he could possibly do. Last time I checked we don't jail people for the possibility of committing a crime.
