  1. Whale oil is a prime example of that. Look how in demand it is now and how all the technically available whale oil is now economically available as well......
  2. Oh look, Brent thinks these two words mean the same thing. Life must be pretty cool when you can just make shit up.
  3. Catholic Church is a prime example of loudly proclaiming to be against something while actively being it. So many gay priests.
  4. So when I asked you earlier to use your intellect and explain why there were carve outs for affirmative action, we can now all agree you cannot use your intellect.
  5. The scope of the ruling wasn't contained to Harvard or North Carolina, what the hell are you talking about?
  6. Clearly I am not very highly educated cause I have no clue what this word salad means. I do wear a poppy during the appropriate time, proudly so.
  7. Who sets the trans agenda? Do all trans people get together once per year and vote on the new agenda? Is there a Trans governing body that you have to follow if you want to be trans?
  8. you said "ending systemic race based discrimination." Now I know what you really meant was "striking a blow in North Carolina." No wonder debating with you is useless.
  9. When you said: "ending systemic race base discrimination?" you meant only at Harvard? ok, sure.....
  10. Can you explain to me, with your intellect, why there are exclusions to the illegality of Affirmative Action? You are going on as if SCOTUS ruled Affirmative Action is illegal, but that isn't the case. They only ruled it is illegal for some schools.
  11. The 303 decision shows how absolutely horrifically dysfunctional the American Justice system is and how SCOTUS, if not corrupt, is very ideologically driven. You may agree with the decision, but the process it has taken and the facts around the case should make you very very worried for the system.
  12. Try and have it excluded for unfairly influencing the jury pool.
  13. What principles are those? The only real principle that built your country is kill and subjugate for money.
  14. More evidence SCOTUS is for sale: “If you were good friends, what were you doing ruling on his case?” said Charles Geyh, an Indiana University law professor and leading expert on recusals. “And if you weren’t good friends, what were you doing accepting this?” referring to the flight on the private jet. https://www.propublica.org/article/samuel-alito-luxury-fishing-trip-paul-singer-scotus-supreme-court
  15. Correct, but division of origin is most commonly the guiding factor. In this case it may still change for security concerns.
  16. Not a chance. She is already in a position to influence matters, first orders have already been issued by her. Further to this point. AC has now set schedule and location. The schedule will never be met, but the location was one of the ways she could subtly influence things. The location has now been set for Ft. Pierce: Circled is where the jury pool would now come from, as opposed to if it had been where he was arraigned (Miami) or West Palm Beach (division of origin).
  17. Fox has more balls than CNN when it comes to this. The CNN townhall was an absolute disgrace.
  18. She has not been sanctioned. She had a ruling overruled on appeal, something that happens. No judge has ever been removed for being overruled once, however egregious it was. Not a chance. She is already in a position to influence matters, first orders have already been issued by her.
  19. It is certainly unclear and there is very little jurisprudence around presidential pardon power. This includes questions around if a presidential power can be used against state crimes.
  20. That is wishful thinking. Not unlikely he gets pardoned for the federal crimes before he is ever convicted. Even if he is convicted and sentenced on the federal crimes prior to being pardoned, or convicted on any of the State charges he will simply not be sentenced to prison because the SS would not be able to ensure his safety. I think the absolute most would be house arrest and I think even that would be close to wishful thinking.
  21. Kirschner is now a media personality and he is looking for clicks. With the information currently available, there is no way the DOJ files a motion to remove AC based on her ruling in the civil case. There is simply no precedent AND it would be way too easy to spin it into a purely political move. It will only happen, IMHO, if the 11th has to overrule her a few times in a row AND those rulings are egregious. Only then would DOJ file for a motion to have her removed.
  22. It would be, Trump would be in pre-trial detention right now if that were the case.
  23. Should note that Fani Willis has since said this will not impact her proceedings in Georgia, so I was wrong about that.
  24. No they won't. They may ask the 11th Circuit for her removal, but only if she makes a string of bad calls, in a row, that have to be overturned by the 11th. They won't ask before the trial, not a chance. (unless they have evidence of further connection between AC and Trump)
