  1. NO NO NO!!!! That's not the way it's supposed to be done. Funjumper doesn't want greedy people like your RWC congregation decided to help people. You must be FORCED to help in the way funjumper wants you to. You're being your brother's helper. That's not nearly the same as "brother's keeper." It's incredibly selfish - the government should decide where that food should have been given. Not the people themselves. They must hate children and puppies. Those 250 families should get in line with all the other starving families and not be given favored status by a church just because they look like the church members. Clearly that church must only serve white meat and white milk - if you know what I mean. Private charity is selfish - those donations should go straight to the US Treasury for 'perfect' disbursement. for the children (I'm practicing the 'talk', how'd I do?) There is a difference between charities helping those that fall through the cracks and; a system that relies on charities.
  2. Apparently you are more of a man than I am. I haven't done any of it, nor would I know how. Who do I give my man card to? Who would have known that oil changes and mulch defined masculinity?
  3. No it isn't. Israel provides a strong and stable nuclear foothold in a very contentious and volatile area. There is significant return on the money spent. What is it in Afghanistan?
  4. Ok Tom Cruise....maybe find a couch to jump on?
  5. Ah ok. I am going to say that your calories are seriously overstated then, if you go by what the machine is telling you. To put it into perspective. Running is one of the most calorie intesive forms of exercise. General guideline is 100 calories per mile run. You would have to run 11 miles in an hour, which is extremely close to world elite level pace. That calorie count is gross, meaning it includes the calories you would have burnt doing nothing sitting on the couch. My guess is you are severaly over estimating your calories burnt.
  6. You'd think, but you'd be wrong. Web sites, especially in their early stages, crash. That's simply a fact of life because it's impossible to predict with 100% accuracy how the public is going to respond to it and what demands they'll place on it. Hell, AMAZON.COM crashed the other day. What the fuck are you talking about?
  7. What does the US get in return for this money? Or is the contention that the US is so stupid it gives away billions without getting anything in return? (not something I would easily agree with)
  8. I am surprised you couldn't figure this out on your own, but the time to ask for this is after the offer is made and before you accept the offer. My company has a website accessible to those who get job offers with all the company policies and procedures as well as a listing of all benefits. This allows them to read up before signing the offer back. You would think these fast moving Silicone Valley technology companies could find somebody who can put a website together?
  9. We definitely don't want to deprive people like Holmes, Cho, Loughner, Kazmierczak and Lanza of their guns. No Siree. It is difficult to predict the behavior of people with mental illness. The only reasonable protection is for responsible folks to be armed and trained. So, the rest of the western world is unreasonable in its handling of those with a mental illness and only the US is reasonable in how it handles this issue? You forget, the USA is an exceptional county. It was founded on an ideal. No reason for us to handle our problems like other countries. If you like it better where you are, stay there. I never said the US should...I asked if you though the US was the only country in the western world who handled mental illness reasonably?
  10. Interesting 3 posts...Ron, do you also post under a different name?
  11. What kind of cardio are you diong that gets you to 4,000 calories in 3.5 hours?

  13. I think an employer should have the right to decide which benefits they want to offer and what is and isn't covered in that package. Employees then have the right to either accept employment there, or not. This issue gets a bit more complicated in my mind when drastic adjustments are made with existing employees. I strongly believe grandfathering works in those scenarios. I don't believe in the government mandating to employers what they have to offer in their benefits package. However, I also do not have an issue with the government mandating that federally approved medication, prescribed for its approved use by a licensed MD, has to be covered.
  14. but it may improve a box wine. Probably give it a little zip.
  15. Yes Licking the knife after cutting out his liver during a justifiable homicide may indicate some other issues still smarter than licking the taser Yes Taser and Chianti do not go well together.

  17. Really? Civil War - Soldier's Heart WWI - Shell Shock WWII - Battle Fatigue Korea - Stress Response Syndrome Viet Nam - Post Viet Nam Syndrome (also known as "Going Batshit") There's over 80 different names attributed to the same thing. Which begs the question: How much money has the US spent on weaponry and research into better weapons systems in those years. Then lets compare that to how much they have spent on PTSD prevention and treatment over that same time period.
  18. Not necessarily. If a citizen is accosted by a thug with a knife and shoots him in self-defense, would you categorize that as knife violence or gun violence? Wouldn't it be both? Just because most would see the outcome as positive does not negate the fact it is violence.
  19. The fact that some people are even saying, well we don't have the whole story.....is somewhat retarded. The guy is on foot, picking up his own kids. Release kids to parent, story over. The fact this is even a discussion.....
  20. I think we are starting to confuse several different issues here. As I udnerstand it, Georgia's "castle doctrine" indicates that in defending yourself or others, relating to the defense of habitation, has no duty to retreat and has a right to stand his ground and use force. Hence, the Georgia "castle doctrine" allows one to stand their ground. Another option is, that since the page you linked to speaks a lot about entry or attempted entry into residence, one could argue tha the "castle doctrine" would not apply in this case and therefor SYG might take over. (we also don't know where the actual shooting took place, may have been off the actual property)
  21. So let me get this straight. A politician using reports of this knockout game to try and get more funding is proof that it is actually happening, that it is a racial issue and that the media is ignoring it?
  22. She must give one hell of a blowjob if your brother puts up with her.
  23. Every black man who isn't actively speaking against it, is obviously for it.
