When it comes to not killing other people, the rest of the Western World is indeed superior to America. This little whine is quite funny coming from an American though. Considering you have spent the last couple of decades trying to convince the rest of the world you are better than everybody else. Including using force to try and "convince" other countries they should be like you.

I put them on par with anyone in an official office. So the guy ion the tube station has to be politically correct and polite, but the guy running for President should be commended for saying what everybody else is thinking. Makes sense.

In an ideal world, that would be perfect. The system that Texas used where the top 10% of a given high school graduates automatically got in seemed like a good, race neutral method of evening out the racial disparities in secondary education. For some reason, it didnn't seem to work. Diversity plummeted. Now, I know that to an individual student, there is no such thing as diversity. Each individual is just that, an individual. But to an organization, diversity can be important. I'm not sure what the answer it to make sure admissions are fair to the individual, while still meeting the organization's goals. That system only works if all High Schools are roughly at the same level. I think the biggest problem is that such is not the case. -

And yet with this Chipotle issue, nobody (sane) is lobbying for a ban on Mexican food. As a matter of fact, nobody is lobbying for a full closure of Chipotle. Remember a lot of years back? Someone poisoned some capsules, Tylenol, I think, or maybe contact cold remedy? I think like, maybe 10 people across the United States actually died. Try to find any over the counter medication without at least 2 safety devices on it. Exactly, you put safety precautions in place, you don't ban pain medication. Hence, you do your best to vet the refugee applicants, like you always do. Thank you for proving the point. If we used the same level of security as we do for OTC mess, they would have to carry vetted papers and a personal escort to just walk around. Put them to work building a fence on your southern border. Forced labour camps and protection from all those rapists should be a welcome policy in the US.

Was it an outright ban on all Kenyans and Iraqis? I know your thread is entitled Adolf Trump. (personally, I would've preferred Donald Hitler myself) But again, you're conflating his most recent flagrant comments with the Syrian refugee situation that we've been talking about. Is it too much to ask for you to keep things in order....again? I was trying to compare it to an outright ban on Syrian refugees, which is why I asked.

You also haven't stated you disagree. You have no problem doing that very quickly when it comes to politicians on the opposite end of the spectrum. That silence is deafening...and telling.

You do know that in 1952 a Dem congress sent a bill to the pres that he signed that give a sitting pres the power, by proclamation, to stop or ban any immigration for any reason he deems needed to protect the US And in the 1960 Cater used that law to stop Iranians from coming to the US and he deported over 9 k The deportation came after he ordered all Iranian student to report within one month. Those who had over stayed their visa were sent home You do know that applies to aliens and those on visas, not Americans who happen to be of a certain religion.

To me that is a scary opinion to have. A leader standing up and saying amongst others: Mexicans are rapists Encouraging a physical altercation with someone who disagreed with him Muslim tracking data base Banning all Muslims Infiltrating all mosques That can't just be waved away as somebody saying nothing.
