Law Enforcement Exemptions Unconstitutional?
SkyDekker replied to jgoose71's topic in Speakers Corner
Actually, no I don't. Mostly because if we are all subjected to the same levels of protection (especially politicians) then maybe we can have a serious discussion about what constitutes "Adequate self protection." I am willing to let the politicians continue to have there armed guards though. They just can't carry anything more than what I'm allowed to carry.... Fuck you if you say I can't have a gun or only carry a 6-shooter while you are surrounded by full auto assault rifles, .50 cal sniper rifles, sub-machine guns, and any other form of belt fed happiness..... I am so thankful I live in a society where this simply isn't that big an issue. -
No kidding. Some guy claims to have won a medal and if it isn't true he has to go to jail, cause those who did win a medal get all offended and butt hurt. Bunch of pussies. Just let people live there life.

Common sense would dictate it is only illegal if the information was actually classified. But of course you are correct http://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/politics-government/election/article53685825.html I never said the email did not contain classified information. I am pretty sure I am not the arbiter on whether information is classified or not. I am also sure you are not.

Forget it is Hillary Clinton. If someone instructs an underling to remove a classified marking, because the information contained in the document isn't classified, then I doubt a crime has been committed. Are you refuting this?

Interesting reads...........ABOUT POLICE SHOOTINGS......
SkyDekker replied to skycop's topic in Speakers Corner
And???? You are using one data point for your assertion. I am using one data point for mine. If we use all the data points, we are back to the list indicating most dangerous jobs and how cops are not at the top. -
Obama's "Non-executive order" was just grand standing?
SkyDekker replied to mirage62's topic in Speakers Corner
I could care less. I was responding to the asinine 2 class argument jgoose is using. You want to load up on the same guns cops have, go nuts. -

Then why your repeated argument about 2 different classes of people with differing rights based on their jobs? You are clearly fine with that concept, you just want to decide which classes belong where. -

The constitution gives a right to bear arms. Not the right to specific arms. I doubt you will find much widespread support for being allowed to own all arms owned by military. -

Shot by a gun stolen from another cop's house. But armchair experts know safe gun storage isn't required, no, not at all..... -

Concept isn't valid. None of the regulations you listed made guns non-lethal or even less-lethal. Then why did the government enact the law that regulated them if those accessories do not make the rifle any more lethal?? No idea.....but that doesn't change anything. -
There is so much wrong with this sentence.

Google: Rick Mercer Talking to Americans. If you agree that the contents of that indicate Americans are inherently stupid, I will agree that Exhibit A does indeed cause a severe risk to your 1st Amendment.

Which ahs been my objection to the liberal plan. I have no objection to the number of refugees proposed. I do have an issue with using time as a driving force behind that plan.

To be fair, they wouldn't want to give it to the proletariat. Only to the part of the proletariat that looks and thinks like them. -
It would seem that SOTUS does not agree with you. They have ruled. If you feel so strongly about this, you should take it up in court. That is where all things in this country are ultimately determined; not here in SC. Jerry Baumchen So you believe every court ruling they have made is correct and the SC has never changed a ruling of their own? If a SCOTUS ruling is supposedly not correct, as in maybe not supported by current societal ideology, then it is up to the legislative branch to change the underlying laws. (or you can hope a subsequent ruling "overturns" a previous ruling, though this is rather rare.)

Obama's "Non-executive order" was just grand standing?
SkyDekker replied to mirage62's topic in Speakers Corner
Yes. Look how many already support banning every Muslim American from entering the country. Clearly those who are here, or still try to enter are terrorists and should be dealt with. American soldiers or LEO shooting American citizens has happened before and I am sure will happen again. I thought gun control was impossible to enact in the US. I have since rethought that. I think gun control will be partially implemented as soon as mosques start holding gun fairs, open only to Muslims to protect themselves against radical American Christians hell bent on a crusade against Islam. Donald Trump will be the first one to support the gun control. -
How can you say that about the multi-award winning, Nobel laureate star of the seminal film "Inconvenient Truth"? Why is it that when it comes to Al Gore capitalists all of a sudden don't like capitalism? He is a propagandist. So is every business leader.

You mean like a guy who wants everybody to follow the law except himself.

For those of you who like to keep track of politcal liars
SkyDekker replied to rushmc's topic in Speakers Corner
Take it up with Rush, he is the one all burned up about Obama taking a third of the vacation time Bush did, yet thought Bush taking that time was no problem at all. I don't think the President ever get's a day off, regardless of where he is. I do think optics are important though and even a great president would get flack if he spent more time out of his office than in his office at the White House.
