  1. That's not a PSA, that is a tax payer funded election message for the sherrif.
  2. The two of you can really play the player, can't you? Not the player at all. 70's Education apparently. Wouldn't want anybody to take responsibility for themselves. But I get your point. Poor people are just lazy. People who can't be bothered to learn how to get a 5th grade grasp on English are victims of circumstance and should be helped.
  3. Except that it is noted from time to time in the media that he is well liked by those who work for him. The current occupier of the WH is nothing more than a racist organizer that desires to bring America to its knees. I am not necessarily a Trump supporter but, as a politician he is tapping into the fear/anger of the general population. He is acting just like the others only he uses different words. 50% Of the population does indeed have an IQ under 100, so his voters' base is quite large.
  4. There is some fine, thought out and well articulated policy. It is going to be great!
  5. Wonder who paid for that trip to the private luxury ranch.
  6. Fox News hosts have already proclaimed it a victory for ISIS.
  7. The weak link right now is the Comander n Chief That or English teachers.
  8. ELI5: FBI went to court and got court to order Apple to do what they wanted. Apple to appeal.
  9. Living wage levels aren't enough to purchase big screen TVs and survive. That's not how they are calculated. You are conflating two separate issues. 1. People who make enough, but spend poorly. 2. People who do not make enough to live. On number 2, so far all of you have been doing is muttering...lazy....or you are lumping them into group 1.
  10. Except a street sweeper wouldn't be able to do that if he had to work three more jobs to just be able to survive. Nobody will ever be the best they can be if their main worry is where their next meal will come from and if they will have a roof over their head the next day.
  11. Wonderful story about walking uphill into the wind both ways. Now look at what you made during those years compared to what things cost. You will find that your purchasing power has reduced significantly in comparison to somebody doing the same thing now.
  12. Of course he has completely ignored this.
  13. Not at all. The problem is that there are many, many, many jobs where you can work yet still live in poverty. Just look at the many WalMart employees who have to rely on social programs to make ends meet. Having to work 18 hours a day 7 days a week to have a living wage is not a normal existence. People should be able to work a job 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and live a regular, normal (lower) middle class life. For many the American Dream is to be able to be a part of the working class. Not everybody wants to work 24 hours straight, nor should anybody be required to, to make ends meet. For your daughter and her generation it is very unlikely she will do as well as your generation, or your parents generation. I have no idea how my children are going to afford real estate in an urban environment when they are older. There has been almost no real wage growth in the last couple of decades, yet expenses and costs have increased significantly. The middle class isn't disappearing because everybody is now lazy.
  14. true - I'm just cynical and amazed at the money machine that is political campaigning and think there has to be a better way. ????? Paradoxically both winners of the NH primary are the least funded with no Super pacs. Yes, Trump is quite short on money.
  15. Amazing. That tick knows exactly where the border is.
  16. You might be missing very much of the motivation for many to support Sanders, nor does it speak very highly of your fellow country men and women. Many people don't want a hand out, they don't want free stuff. They want a fair shake. For probably the first time a whole generation is convinced that they will not do better than their parents, no matter how hard they work. To them the American Dream is dead. The majority of his supporters don't want to sit around, do nothing and get a minimal amount of money. They want the exact opposite. They want to be able to get a chance to work hard and make it.
  17. It is...though I worded it poorly. You have seen me post it before though, about republicans who claim to be libertarians. Because that is the role of government really. Libertarians just wants less rules, as long as the rules they like remain of course. Just all those other rules need to go away.
  18. Why didn't you just stand your ground and shoot them? You were getting ambushed after all. Are you some kind of gun-o-phobe or something?
  19. I haven't read anything about this, other than the usual biased innuendo without proof. One was a list trying to tie country donations to their foundation and weapons sales. Do you have anything concrete?
  20. What does that even mean? It means for sale to the highest bidder, just like when she was in the state department. Aren't pretty much all politicians? Hard to run an election campaign without contributions, unless you want to "invest" $1 billion of your own money.
  21. From where I sit I can see no shortage of conservative fuck nuggets who want to tell everyone what is and is not allowed. Is that what you mean by "agenda"? This is when the majority of republicans proclaim their allegiance to libertarianism.
  22. Priceless. You are wrong so often, never admit it and steadfastly keep going. Wonder if Iraq is looking for an Information Minister.
  23. Do you have any examples of this? Want to bake a cake? 1 They broke the law, should religious people be exempt from the law? 2 Can't find any evidence of them being evangelical. 3 They ended up making money of this.
  24. Do you have any examples of this?
