    Ah, someone has been reading the same article I just read today? https://harpers.org/archive/2016/04/legalize-it-all/ Actually, no haven't read that article. I will try and give it a read later if I can. But, should not that I by no means think that legalizing all drugs is the right answer.

A lot of hate has built up since the political correctness of the Nixon era.

    Which has been my problem with the "stand your ground" laws which you have previously defended. So it is interesting to see you now take this stance. Would be easy to get into somebody's face and "entice" him to take a swing, then shoot him since he assaulted you first. Legalized homicide. Though, during the Florida episode that was dismissed as people should control their emotions and actions and take responsibility for them.

    Which is roughly a third of the number of republicans who will vote, based on 2012 numbers. That is a pretty sizeable group of voters.

    True. But what Id di see on that video was assault with a weapon, isn't that what it is called? When assaulted with a weapon, don't you have the right to defend yourself? So, if one of those bikers had pulled out a gun, fearing for the safety of himself and those around him, and shot the officer. Would you have defended that action? Officer should have known that cloud of teargas would result in swerving which could easily have led to an accident with potentially deadly outcome.
