  1. Bullshit. http://www.snopes.com/politics/clintons/landlord.asp
  2. You would rather money goes to Trump's business than a charity?
  3. Not really. Left wing radio just generally sucks. Nobody wants to tune in and listen to a bunch of people whine about (and I kid you not) the racial parallels of Star Wars. I guess it is more entertaining to listening to stories of pedophile rings in pizza restaurant basements. To some anyways. If a radio program is not formatted in an interesting and entertaining manner people will not listen. Therefore there will be no ad revenue. Therefore there will be no money to pay for airtime and expenses. Left wing hosts, for the most part, are unable to accomplish this. That is why Air America died. It was boring. The hosts came across as a bunch of gossipy whiny old women which is why it failed. I thought the broadcast sign of WWAA was pretty accurate. 'You're listening to Air America on WWAAAAAAAAA.' News is generally boring, which why you have seen this march towards the current entertainment based model.

  5. No, I don't. Both, some of the most severe hurricanes had a relatively low death toll, but a very high dollar value in damage. Hard to not list that as a severe event.
  6. it's fun to watch one admin go too far left, and then the next go too far right, and the next go too far left, and then the next......... (wait, no it's not fun....not fun at all) Hence unlikely any major long term investment would come from this.
  7. Why only look at that? The argument was that more severe weather events would take place with a warming climate right? Are you measuring severity only by number of deaths? And without accounting for reductions due to modernization?
  8. Buddy, did you look at the graph you yourself supplied? Does the number of incidents look within normal historical norms? I have attached it for you separately, just in case you missed it the first time around....
  9. Another home-run, make sure the general public doesn't have easy access to information anymore: http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/donald-trump-epa-website-turn-off-environmental-protection-agency-government-administration-a7698736.html
  10. I sit next to/work with a Venezuelan girl, as in born and raised and her entire family is there. What exactly should I ask her? Ask her how well Socialism worked out? FIFY Venezuela is much more communist than it is socialist. Don't believe me? Fine, maybe you'll believe the Cato Institute? Unless they are too left wing for you https://www.cato.org/publications/commentary/venezuelas-playbook-communist-manifesto
  11. Modernity has certainly increased the lifespan of people. Scientists have done a great job protecting people. Those same scientists you think are now full of shit.....
  12. The data does show a massive increase in reported natural disasters and a massive increase in number of people affected. Wasn't your argument that there were less of them? Floods certainly have killed significantly less people. But that doesn't necessarily mean a reduction in severity or frequency of floods. It could very well mean we have gotten much better in building damn and dikes and have gotten much better at predicting and responding.
  13. It doesn't happen every time. in 2014 North Korea had approximately 100,000 foreign visitors. This number has been growing since then. It clearly isn't without risk, but I wouldn't say it happens every time.
  14. If Venezuela is such a problem, why did your president accept $500,000 from them?
  15. Ahh, you base your opinion of global warming on entertainment shows. It does indeed help, thank you.
  16. Irrelevant, unless the University is behind the protests. The system was just set up differently from the beginning. There are still accusations of voter fraud. So to use typical right wing logic, there is no need to do anything about voter fraud because it won't be 100% eliminated.
  17. Neil deGrasse Tyson agrees with Isaac: http://www.businessinsider.com/neil-degrasse-tyson-most-important-words-video-2017-4?r=US&IR=T
  18. That is how it is in Canada. And yet we are not oppressed and have free elections. I agree, ...but try advocating that down here and you're branded a hateful racist. That is because motivation does matter. Election fraud is statistically non-existent in your current system. So why decide that now is the time that this is required? And if it is shown that there is no security threat related to Ann Coulter speaking and the University is using that as an excuse to block her from speaking, then I am in agreement that it would be a violation of her 1sy Amendment right.
  19. What is the range of natural variability of all those events? At what point would being outside that range prove that climate change is man made? How do you even draw that correlation?
  20. That is how it is in Canada. And yet we are not oppressed and have free elections.
  21. Yeah....exactly like that. Yes it is like that......just as stupid. How would, a prediction about the possible effects of climate change coming true, prove that climate change is man made?
  22. But you get it that pure financial return isn't the only factor for developing and funding new technology, right? I don't think there's any real dispute of that and it's just a matter of trying to figure out what will win in the long run. When we're talking about energy we do need it to work out in the long run and we have to take morality and health into account. US tax payers money has gone to: * Development of a 10,000 MT bomb which would effectively have contaminated the earth. * Infecting mentally retarded children with hepatitis. * Releasing pathogens in the city of San Francisco * Purposely denying black people treatment for syphilis to study the effect of the disease over 40 years. * Trying to develop mind control. * Effects of radiation on pregnant women, newborn babies and mentally handicapped people. * Psychic remote viewing of mars. But clearly no money should be spent on trying to develop renewable energy.
  23. Are you saying she isn't allowed on their property to speak? Are they restricting access to her online content? Are her books not allowed on campus? The event is specifically being allowed. Indeed sounds like her freedom to speak is being very much violated.....
  24. The fight to control the internet is definitely ongoing.
