Not entirely correct. Group B was applauding him. Now group B is firing him for the actions they applauded him for. Group A is still not happy with the way investigation 1 took place, but questions the change of mind of Group B. Group B has answered that with: I thought you hated him too. You are being a hypocrite for not liking that he got fired. The fact that people (including you based on this post) take that as being a valid answer says lots.

Watergate took 3 years and have over 100 congressional aides assigned to it. This investigation has less than 10 congressional aides assigned to it and is lacking funding. It will take some time clearly.

How many Trump associates were also members of Congress? I can only think of 1: Jeff Sessions In the attached snip from the May 8th congressional hearings Clapper seems to imply that he unmasked Jeff Sessions. A day later Jeff Sessions recommends the firing of Comey, the guy leading the investigation... It is all pretty odd.

So the far majority of scientist are holding an opinion to maintain government grants and it taints their opinion. A slim majority is getting carbon industry funding and it doesn't taint their opinion. That clearly makes perfect sense. -
Could you elaborate on "follow the money"? I'm curious what kind of scheme you believe exists that would make scientists across the world devote their lives to a big lie. Uhhh...how about employment and government grants? The US spends billions every year on this type of research. Fair enough. How about the money Lindzen received from Peabody?

If your election has shown anything is that rational discussion will lead to absolutely nothing. The only way for him to get elected is for millions and millions of Americans being absolutely fine with that level of discourse and to be "on that level".
