well, we now have a post that goes against a person on Speakers Corner. Seems like a flagrant disregard for the rules? And form a moderator no less. flagrant disregard lol Did you call your lawyer for a response first? How is a T shirt Trump supporters are wearing a personal attack on a Trump supporter? Can you explain how you feel attacked or wronged?

I think this is as stupid as a boycott of in and out burger.

A reporter with two Pulitzers as part of a team contribution. This isn't some dude at Buzzfeed who read something on Reddit. edited to be more correct

The idea that a President wouldn't know what papers are coming to him to sign is terrifying. At that level things on his desk for signature shouldn't be a surprise and documents not arriving should be a surprise. There is just so much incredibly scary about all of that.

This tweet clearly illustrates that Trump is unable to see or grasp anything that reaches beyond just him. He only looks at issues with a lense of how it affects him. Nothing else.

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/article-nike-shares-dip-as-colin-kaepernick-ad-spurs-boycott/ True, I think Adidas has that segment well covered

You clearly don't understand what either of those words mean. He has just figured both those words are bad, so together they must be superbad. Only Trump can fix superbad, all the best people say so. The idiocy of many people is not surprising me anymore. That is one outcome of the trump presidency.

Nah, it's all posturing. They'll get their 2% bump in another spending agreement (with others concessions) so the Congressional monkeys can rant about how they stood up for the working stiffs in their district. Not sure about the 'locality increases' thought. I'll have to look into that. I'd like to get a 25% pay raise just because I chose to live and work in an expensive area. It's not that. The spending cap has already been set. Money not spent on federal employees will just get spent elsewhere. Looks like civil servants are going to pay for the wall.

When his mother was born, the state he would come to represent wasn't even a state yet. 106 years old.
-
Never mind that this won't actually save any money.
-
Never mind that other restrictions on USPS regarding delivery and ability to charge for it.
-
Let me guess, military federal employees are excluded....

So let me get this straight. Trump owning real estate across the building and inserting himself into the negotiations and telling people to keep his interactions on this matter secret is a non-story. Wives of FBI or DOJ staff being democrats or working for a company that once worked for a democrat is a clear indicator of bias and conflict of interest.
-
She didn't try. She did. Doesn't that just make her smart? She was in a position of strength at the negotiating table. How is this any different from the general behaviour of the man the US elected President? Who is saying detractors have to be noble? A detractor is somebody who disparages someone or something. Cohen is a Trump detractor now, I wouldn't call him noble either.
-
I think violence towards detractors is a logical next step in the evolution of the Trump presidency.

Good idea, but according to the article last minute changes have significantly skewed this bill towards detention. -
You are so far right that David Duke looks like a Democrat.

Surprisingly North Korea isn't doing what it is supposed to be doing. Shocking really. Who could have foreseen that? Nobody really. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/24/trump-cancels-pompeo-trip-to-north-korea-cites-lack-of-sufficient-progress-on-denuclearization.html

Possibly a scumbag, but don't think he is a politician really.

Yup, the President of the United States thinks cooperating with a federal investigation should be illegal.

That's not actually true. It's all down to the Lebesgue measure of the open interval (a, b) being exactly equal to the Lebesgue measure of the closed interval [a, b], a < b, both real. Thought of a different way, when we integrate over (a, b), we get the same result as if we integrate over [a, b] (assuming the integral is defined on both intervals, of course). If we are to randomly select a number from [a, b], the probability of that number being a is exactly zero, likewise for b. It is, however, possible that the selected number is a or b. The same is true of any particular (i.e., specified before the random selection takes place) number in [a, b]. Sure, and technically collusion isn't a crime. But when people have a conversation and general terms are used.....
-
No they don't. Things that are probable are always possible, while things that are possible are not always probable.

He imposed the tariffs in response to Canada refusing to eliminate THEIR tariffs. This is one thing I hate abut leftists. They can't comprehend the difference between tactics and strategy The tactic is to use even bigger tariffs, the strategy is to eliminate all tariffs. But you are so blinded by rage and hate that you can't even see the simple concepts anymore. Which tarrifs did Canada refuse to eliminate in your opinion? For somebody who complains about the "extreme left" being condescending etc. you certainly are setting a great example.
