electrical vehicles are excluded from the tax But for comparison F150 is $1580 per annum Honda Fit is $400 per annum the F150 is about 2.3x heavier than the Fit, but you can see cost per annum is almost 4x more. (this is on top of the tax at purchase that is based on CO2 emission of the vehicle)
