  1. Sure the bank knows, the credit reporting agency doesn't. Like I said, I never carry a balance on my credit cards, ever. My credit report always says I have a balance on my credit cards. So that money is likely include din all these doomsday reports about levels of credit card debt, which is what my original point was.
  2. Amazing how quickly the party of non-government intervention, personal responsibility, climate denial, science denial, anti-socialism and the inability to find Appalachia on map screams for socialist government control and help for a region they didn't give a shit about 2 weeks ago.
  3. Dollars revolved? What does that mean? They wouldn't know when my payment date is.
  4. I'll look forward to use the fruits of your labour!
  5. 100% correct. My biggest fear as we work through introducing AI internally. Microsoft claims their Ai "Copilot" can be integrated into sharepoint, would not share data outside the organization AND allows for restricting access to information by user. We are currently testing it for meeting minutes and tasks, which has been pretty decent. It listens to the meeting, keeps a transcript and automatically assigns tasks to people as decided in the meeting. Have been trying to get my owners to understand that employees having access to chatgpt means that likely company information is likely being shared on that platform.
  6. I see a big future for AI in work and office environments. Specially when looking for information, or in situations I currently need one of my analysts to model out in excel. Sure I could ask my assistant to find a specific piece of information somewhere, but how much quicker would it be if I can just ask our office AI? The current version of the Microsoft AI offering is already getting close to being able to do that.
  7. It will be helping CEOs by using AI to eliminate many other jobs.
  8. yet when you go the Wikipedia page showing US recessions.......
  9. Trump demands NBC brings back Johnny Carson.....who has been dead for 20 years..... https://www.independent.co.uk/tv/news/donald-trump-late-night-show-johnny-carson-b2618266.html
  10. Considering median age is about 40, you are wrong here too. Regardless inflation is back to normalized numbers. While Biden has created more jobs, has created more manufacturing jobs, stock markets at record highs AND has added less debt than Trump.
  11. $6,000,000 but I don't date women who cannot type "you".
  12. So it wasn't free. Just like free healthcare isn't free. Very weird to see you make that argument here. Not sure what you see as a generation but within 80 years or so is certainly within a generation: 1941 - 9.00% 1942 - 9.00% 1946 - 18.10% 1947 - 8.80% 1973 - 8.70% 1974 - 12.30% 1978 - 9.00% 1979 - 13.30% 1980 - 12.50% 1981 - 8.90% 2022 average inflation rate was 8.0% 2023 average inflation rate was 4.1% 2024 will be lower and likely close to 2.00% So your economy is having a very soft landing after a fast recovery. Generally outperforming other major economies. If that is Biden and Harris at their worst, sounds like pretty amazing things could happen for your country. Unless you somehow think supporting a self proclaimed black Nazi who enjoys trans gender porn is a much better qualifier!
  13. Which means she was an active participant in the US economy. A student visa doesn't automatically get a SSN. She probably has provided significantly more than $2,000 in value to the US economy. Overall a net benefit, specially considering the program as a whole has been successful in housing and feeding a large group of people.
  14. You remind me of JD Vance who stood in front of a display of eggs priced at $2.99 complaining about how eggs now cost $4 today.
  15. Look if you are going to try to use datum to disprove data there really is no point in having a discussion. However in general, fiscal policy is generally not a scalpel, nor is monetary policy.
  16. I don't know why you are so happily stating you would have 10% go homeless unable to feed their families to have slightly reduced inflation.
  17. I have always wondered how they measure that. If I run my credit report right now, it will say I have approx. $14,000 in credit card debt. However somewhere at the beginning of next month, that will be paid off since all my credit cards are paid automatically for the full statement balance, every single month. Because of the 30 day grace period, I will always have a few thousand showing on my credit cards, but I never have to pay interest. So I really have no credit card debt, even though reporting wise it will show I have thousands.
  18. Are you sure. Cause you are also arguing that the increased spending by the government induced inflation. However that increased spending kept a roof over many people's heads and kept many mouths fed.
  19. So what? Inflation is back to levels it should be. The economy is looking to have a very soft landing, which is quite a feat. People were mostly able to keep their homes. Wages are up. Rates are coming down. Prices at the pump are down. Prices for eggs are own, other than one company screwing around with "flock maintenance" to artificially keep prices higher longer (which I am sure you can find a way to blame Biden for). All in all, pretty well handled. On the other hand, global warming will continue to be an issue.
  20. Sliced smoked horsemeat was a staple in our house. Paardenrookvlees.
  21. How does this data show otherwise? How does presenting a static number disprove a change? Oh look, today the numbers are this, that disproves things have changed seems like a really dumb argument.
  22. Weird inflation was up here in Canada too, but the cost our our insurance is down.
  23. True cause it is incorrect. Odds of heads or tails are not 50/50.
