    It's not the size of the logo that counts. It's how good the logo looks on camera that matters. Besides, everyone knows that the PHI is what all us poser Birdmen like to wear when we're trying to impress the chicks.

    Try a different dropzone. Many DZs have a lot of awesome women skydivers and a more friendly environment.

    This is normal. Skydiving isn't a fascination with death so much as a celebration of life. You don't put life on hold because of death. You go out, put in some jumps, think about how great the guy or girl was and then raise some beers to them at the end of the day.

    You might be able to train yourself out of the mental block. Just go outside and do a lot of PLFs until your brain gets used to doing them. You're likely to have a really bad landing at some point and reacting with a PLF will probably save some bones.

    I've done a chopper, but not a balloon. But it was friggen awesome. The falling sensation caught me off guard the first time I did it, but it was really fun.

    Avoid the ditch higher up Seriously though, coming down in a turn is a killer. You get vertical speed from it and when you hit straight down into the ground all the energy goes right into you without bleeding off anywhere else. The worst accidents I've seen are when people hit the ground hard and don't bounce(vertical hits).

    I'm in for 4 hours today to cover some stuff. I'm hoping I get a comp day or two for working today and yesterday so I can have some 3 day weekends.

    Go to the WFFC next year, you can get a lot of jumps in during that. If you have a lot more money than time, you can also buy 2 rigs and use packers. That will let you do back to back loads on the weekends you do jump and get more jumping in for your time.

    Awesome time at the keys. Thanks Wendy for all your hard work putting it together and all the other Seb peeps for keeping it running smoothely. Next year we need unofficial "official" parties for the other nights. I only saw a lot of hung over skydivers on Sunday, not enough of them on Friday and Saturday.

    Scored a 100 on the male. Though it said I prefer masculine faces on women, which isn't surprising since I don't like prissy girls.

    Yeah, I'll be selling my motorcycle next month for the extra money for jumping(so I can put more into my budget for jumps). I've also been driving a beat up little car with no-AC, because buying a new one would cut into my jump money.

    Yeah, I was there. It's a C license requirement. It was a blast and the view(especially from the helicopter jumps) was incredible. I was just surprised to know people could actually fun jump at the DZ that runs out near Key West, even if there are strict requirements.

    Really? I thought the place was tandem-only, but crap if you can jump there with 500 jumps that gives me something to shoot for.

    Those opening shots are sweet, but I want to see it from Perry's perspective. Dunno if he got shots of it or if that was the jump he had camera problems. You gonna put together some raw footage of your jumps? I know it can take awhile to edit and crap, but I'd like to see the raw stuff too sometime.

    You don't need a B to jump at night, you just need to be B qualified. I got my C so I could jump at a boogie that required it, otherwise I doubt I would've.
