Maybe we should. Why not write an article for publication on here and/or in Parachutist?

The American authorities entrusted nuclear missiles to addicts

perhaps you don't understand the correct definition of the English word "addict". I suggest you check this. -

Nyet. -
In view of adoption (among other things), your statement is patently idiotic. In any language.

The facts of the story are what they are. Your thread title is a misleading troll. Childish. -
Actually, that was addressed in the post to which you replied: the atavistic hard-wiring for superstition. Labeling a superstition "knowledge of God" does not make it any less a superstition. Beleave it or not.

Sorry, but it's consistent (and does not conflict) with the 10th Amendment. The 10th reserves to the states that which is not delegated to the federal government, or prohibited to the states, by the Constitution. The 14th Amendment prohibits any state from depriving any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. The 10th is thus satisfied in this case. As for the notion that majority rule trumps the Constitution: Shirley, you jest. Do I really need to lay out the long version of the rebuttal to that?

My quadcopter go-pro drone.

LOL, yeah, we've seen it. In our family, that's how we now refer to her howling.

They've given you permission to shut the door? Hey, in my house that's no joke. Our cat is a 3am moon-howler (seriously). My wife gets nervous sleeping with the bedroom door closed ("I wanna hear if there's any noises"...etc.), but I don't want to be awakened by the damn cat, so once she's asleep I close the door. Then she gives me shit about it... blah blah.

Eh, it's a fine point, I guess. It all has to do with the level of obnoxiousness, I suppose. The press has a job to do, and sometimes they have to be obnoxious about it. But this guy was just a douche-nozzle.

You're Italian and you're from Jersey. You've got people. Fill in the rest.

It's a matter of respectful time and place. Standing with a camera from a discreet distance, especially if you're not a news reporter, is the way to do it (or from a nearby window, as Karen did). But a fucking noisy drone right over the smouldering ashes, while the family is still there? Intrusive to the point that the drone operator deserves an ass-kicking.

We're such suckers. It's embarrassing.

HERE - good answer instead of spending a load of time trying to rationalize positions (either way) with 'why', we'd all be better off just saying, "it doesn't matter, it just is", and accepting each other without being assholes or over the top, etc etc etc. Bill, the reason I think it IS important is that assigning sexuality, especially homo-, to "nurture" results in a number of ill consequences. One is that it ascribes the BEING of homosexuality as programmable-in; thus, logically, it must also be programmable-OUT. This invites horrid abuse of homosexuals under the rationalization of (for example) "beating the gay out of them." Another is the rationalization of ostracizing or abusing homosexuals on the grounds that they have CHOSEN a state of BEING that is socially unacceptable. Either way, the consequence is abhorrent. Millions - probably billions - of people living today are socialized to reject the attitude of "it doesn't matter, it just is". Ascribing homosexuality, even of some, to nurture, enables their intolerance, for it provides a viable soil to nurture it.

Back in the day of fast-opening round canopies, we said the same thing about low-pull contests.

My regrets to them for their loss - but this points out a mistake people sometimes make when buying homeowner's insurance - sometimes due to not realizing what they're (not) buying, or sometimes due to a desire to economize on premiums: check with your agent on whether your insurance covers contents, too - sometimes it requires you to "schedule" certain specific items of value, such as jewelry, electronics, a skydiving rig, etc. And, that may or may not require some extra money per month. If you don't buy the right insurance, you could find yourself only partly covered for your loss. I hope your neighbors recover from their ordeal with as little further trauma as possible.

Why only Icarus and PD? For example, Aerodyne, etc. (such as the Pilot, an excellent canopy)...

See, now there's an excellent straight line. No pun intended. What a mind! Only you would have grabbed that. Grabbed what?? Stop it!

On the whole, they taste like chicken.
