  1. Extremely well thought out, as would be expected for a Trump supporter. I would add to the list "Trump can't be president." Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  2. Ummm...skydiving in general may fit your description above but to say SC is mostly conservative is wrong unless there is some silent majority of which I'm not aware. I thought you waved the white flag a long time ago because you just couldn't stomach all of the liberals here. Well, we're always here to provide the logical ass whoopings that you know you just can't resist. Come back more often. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  3. "Does the truth matter?" That's rich, coming from you of all people. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  4. Watch the Trumpettes of Beverly Hills make their case for The Donald. In this video you will see some brilliant minds convincingly explain their rationale for the 2016 vote. Open mind, folks - this is quite compelling. Even the strongest of Hillary supporters might consider a vote to Make America Great Again. http://www.bbc.com/news/election-us-2016-37380573 Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  5. Put them on a Herc, drop them over their homeland by static line. This would have the added benefit of making other would-be illegal migrants think twice about coming in the first place. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  6. Very informative, learned a lot about both candidates that I didn't know before. Thanks for posting. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  7. And it's likely that insistence on death for apostasy that keeps people (especially women) in the religion, for fear of leaving. Free societies do not have to be stuck with such an even ideology - but for fear of being perceived as intolerant, they tolerate the intolerance of Islam. Because these societies are by their nature free and permissive, they see setting any boundaries around this ideology as being against their principles -- when those boundaries are exactly what they'll need to ensure long-term preservation of their traditions of freedom and tolerance. 8. I just finished subjecting myself to this video, with the faint hope that just maybe he would say something original and new. Nope. Same old rambling about the typical sweet nothings that people like you want to hear from a candidate. That you don't see through his billionaire saleseman bullshit and choose to believe it is remarkable, that there are millions more dittoheads who do the same is incredible. This is what the US has been reduced to -- and it's sad there is no dialogue about how we've come to this point. The scariest thing is going through the profiles of those commenting their "amens" and "makes me proud to be an American" - it explains how we ended up with two terms of W. The immense stupidity of the American people cannot be underestimated. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  9. I agree with the parallel on sects of Islam and the inquisition, disagree with the comparison between migrants with Puritans. I wouldn't dread Islam as much as I do weren't it for the fact that tens of millions of people today are subjugated by it. Ideologies involving severing of limbs and heads, public floggings, stoning and burning of women should be viewed and treated no differently than Nazism. Why my fellow liberals give Islam a free pass is something I have yet to get my head around. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  10. No, it's just irrelevant and counterproductive to both relations with Muslim immigrants and the investigation. Many cases in the past where even profilers came in and said to look for a specific type of person or even had an individual singled out just to discover we're barking up the wrong tree. In this case it wouldn't be barking up the wrong tree -- the attacker was clearly inspired by his religion to carry out the act. In the long run, pussyfooting around the issue is less helpful than confronting it. The attacker was inspired by Extremists/Terrorists who are Muslim, still not validation to make a test of faith for those seeking entry to the country. That what you have to confront. There are 3.3 million Muslims in the US, there are 1.6 Billion in the world. Who is asking for a test of faith to enter the country? Just because the religion is and has been for some time an inspiration for repeated terrorist acts (acts which happen worldwide, very frequently and with high death tolls) doesn't mean I agree with Donald Trump's ill-advised policies. You can't honestly say that someone screaming allahu akbar before slicing a head off/stabbing another person/blowing oneself up with the intention of mass slaughter has nothing to do with the religion. Have you ever read the Quran? Islam abuses the freedom of western societies with the intention of changing those societies to conform to its norms. Read these columns from Time and

  13. NY/NJ and Minnesota over the weekend - more incidents perpetrated by those who either are Muslim or "claim to be" Muslim. Incident #...well, I can't keep up anymore. But of course, this has nothing to do with Islam -- the religion of peace! Nothing, not in the least -- in fact it's a coincidence perpetrators of such repeated incidents happen to be Muslim at all -- especially the fellow in Minnesota screaming Allahu akbar with the knife in hand. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  14. Was a very good one - just finished watching. The piece about Cheney not liking the CIA's answer to his question about Zarqawi's relation to Saddam, creating a linkage anyway and writing the speech that Powell delivered to the UN is damning. And of course, Cheney and his former chief of staff ignored a request for an interview. "Relied on faulty intelligence" indeed. 15. Interesting post. I don't agree with the idea we should pity narcissists. We should instead treat them like we would treat anyone else -- and hold them to the same standards we would hold anyone else to. The most important thing is to avoid putting them on the pedestal they put themselves on. The unfortunate thing is that our society quite often rewards narcissists in many levels of life, and this especially applies to presidential candidates (W, Obama and both Clintons included). Donald Trump is an exaggerated example. Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.

  17. It is what the Founding Father's designed and what your vaunted constitution has created. You want all this freedom, then with it comes the freedom to perpetrate mass shootings. Simply the price to pay. Nice one -- that's pretty much where the discussion ends IMO. 19. I respect your benefit of the doubt, but the shooter pledged allegiance to ISIS. I can't agree with that when Christians aren't systematically chopping off limbs/heads and throwing people off buildings and cliffs as punishment for homosexuality -- in several countries throughout the world. This article illustrates statistically what Muslims think of homosexuality in Britain. 20. I feel sad for the victims too. This kind of barbarity doesn't belong in a civilized society. Acceptance of and appreciation for those of various sexual orientations are the strength of free societies in the west. After seeing events unfold over the years l'm more convinced than ever that Islam is a cancer that is 100% incompatible with liberal values -- and say that boldly and proudly even at the risk of being perceived as intolerant by my fellow liberals. 21. Given the extremely unpleasant side effects, I disagree with the idea that it's a step in the right direction. Natural gas comes with just about every downside of petroleum and coal. 22. I take it "across the board" doesn't account for the fracking process to obtain that "clean" natural gas: loads of trucks burning fuel to transport fracking water and chemicals, toluene and other carcinogens and methane in groundwater and streams, tarp-lined waste pits of "produced water" spilling into the surrounding ground during stormy weather, methane leaks into the atmosphere... http://www.thenation.com/article/global-warming-terrifying-new-chemistry/ Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
  23. How about ensuring men just use the back hole? As an extra measure, how about sewing vaginas shut? I'm sure this can also be reversed when enough funds are in the bank. I believe this is the direction Doug Stanhope was going when he made this video. 24. Wow, unreal! That song was the first thing I related to after reading the subject line of the post. Beelzebubba was one of my favorite albums by the Dead Milkmen. You must have lived in Philly at some point if u know this song :-) Be humble, ask questions, listen, learn, follow the golden rule, talk when necessary, and know when to shut the fuck up.
