Ya'll did a great thing rescuing that poor lil guy! As for names: I like Yoke! or Yokie! That's my soon to be dogs name when we go adopt. I'll let ya have it too!! edit to add: I like "SideSlip" too...... Yokie and SideSlip are cute names

Thanks everybody. I feel so lucky to have found him. He is really smart. It only takes him a few minutes to learn new tricks. Since he was in a crate healing from his femur surgery for most of his puppy months he only knew some basic commands like sit and down. In only a few days he learned to walk nicely on a leash, stay, off, drop it, leave it, wait and not rush through doors until invited and to lie down and crawl forward on the ground. He's almost got come, roll over, and shake too. He is a great dog! I think he feels really lucky to be out of "jail" He wants to be near us so bad he will leave his food in the kitchen to come sit by us on the couch

You should name him "Lucky". That's cute. I was thinking about naming him Lucky but, I already have 2 friends with dogs named lucky. So it might get kind of confusing Fly like a girl

Brian and I adopted him from the Humane Society of Silicon Valley yesterday and they dropped him off today. His name is Chewy now but, Brian and I are going to change it. He is a 6 month old pit bull mix and is the sweetest dog ever. He fits right in with Brian and I because he broke his leg at the same time we did and had to have a pin put in too. He still limps a little but they said he should heal fully. He is at the same point in his recovery as me so we can do rehab together:-P I love him already:-) Fly like a girl

Registered Apr 26, 2005 Then: 22 yo, 2 jumps, in Collage, Dating brianfry713, broken ankle, jumping as much as possible when not broken. Now: 25 yo, 45 jumps, in Collage, Dating brianfry713, broken leg, jumping as much as possible when not broken. Some things never change but, I did get my pilots licences when recovering from shoulder surgery. I think that was my biggest accomplishment

I used to show my horses in 3-day eventing, but now I only have time to ride for fun. I also snowbord and ski, fly airplanes, surf occasily, mountain bike, hike, salsa and swing dance, do pilates, yoga and swimming. Fly like a girl
