I hope you get better soon I did a similar thing in October. I just started to drive and attempting to walk short distances last week. It's a real pain in the ass. I was lucky I had my parents and Brian to look after me. How badly did you break it? I had a compound tib/fib with nerve damage and ligament/tendon damage so hopefuly yours isn't as bad and you will be up and driving sooner then me. My boyfriend broke his fibula 3 weeks before me. It only took him a few days to start driving and he has already had his metal taken out and is cleared to skydive again in a few weeks. So maybe it won't be so bad. I know it seems daunting now but, the time really does pass and every day you do feel better. Do something special for your self like have a girls movie night with your friends or buy the DVD box set of that TV show you like and never get a chance to watch. I bought my self a fuzzy robe, fuzzy PJ's and fuzzy socks and have been watching lots of the science Chanel. I really hope you feel better soon

At least she won't be shocked if she finds the 'toy box' . Mom was helping me clean my house one day and opened it before I could say 'NOT that!' She closed it right away and said, "Oh...um, I think this is yours and Joe's and I don't want to know about anything inside it." He he. Brians parents came to visit him while I was still up in Half Moon Bay Being taken care of by my parents after surgery. Needless to say he let them sleep in our bed and he didn't think to put away the "stuff" on our dresser that I bought for us before getting hurt. They never said anything As far as the question. I don't really do anything my parents don't know about. I don't go in to detail about the drinking I some times do at boogies and parties but, the're pretty laid back and have a great sense of humor. I think anything my friends said they would probably just laugh and shake their head. Fly like a girl

I walked into the wing of a 182 this past summer, slammed by head into the trailing edge of the wing. there was blood. It was immediately followed by laughter from all there including myself. I have slammed my leg twice on the landing gear causing a really bad bruise and big bump, hit my head on the flaps 3 times drawing blood once and leaving a clump of hair once and cut my finger on a scratch on the tail once. Man preflighting is dangerous Fly like a girl

I would definitely recommend the American Boogie at Skydance Skydiving in Davis and the Byron Boogie at Byron if you are looking for near by boogies. I have been to them for the last 3 years and they are always a blast. The people are great and I have never not had anyone to jump with

Ya'll are a cute couple, but I think it would be more "Wobbliest Couple" I'm not that wobbly! I've only fell down the stairs 3 times!! Come on, someone shorten one crutch One of Brian's crutch actually got stuck collapsed once and it was pretty funny Fly like a girl

It took me one whole week after my latest surgery I think It was almost more painful than my broken leg at the time thank goodness for pain pills Fly like a girl

Ok its kind of embarrassing but, I have 44 jumps. Jump 2 I sublocated my shoulder in FF then broke my ankle on landing. Jump 5 my shoulder fully dislocated so I had surgery to fix it. Jump 42 I broke my nose on exit. Jump 44 compound tib fib requiring surgery to put a rod in my tibia. So my # is 1 in 11 Fly like a girl

The first time I told them I fell down the stairs because I didn't really want to go through the whole "no my parachute did open I just didn't land it properly" thing. The next 2 times I told them the truth. It really didn't matter because extreme sports are covered under my insurance The last time they picked me up in the middle of the landing area and had to cut my jump suit off so I really couldn't make up an excuse for that anyway Fly like a girl
