  1. Comparing two suits with just one jump each is just impossible. Here are just some of my first impressions: The Phi feels very solid where the firebird is still a bit flimsy. Both suits require you to apply more pressure to the legwing (pushing the legs outward). I only tried to fly the Phi on my back. It's true that backflying still isn't easy with the Phi but the legwing remained very solid. What I noticed most was that the forward speed of the firebird was enormous and the Phi's not so (this could very much have been the result of the wind conditions). The quality of the fabric and design and such of the Phi is just so much better. If only the firebird would be made the same (or be a bit cheaper). My verdict: I personally thing the firebird will be perfect for your first suit. It's like a 150 sqft canopy, It's fun and remains fun for a lot more jumps. I expect to see a lot more wingsuit aerobatics in the future. Thats what the Phi is perfect for (just fooling around in the sky). So there it is, a few more jumps with ether suit and I'll probably say something completely different Tristan Will you answer "NO" to my next question?
  2. As the second person that flew the Phantom I'll have to totally agree with everything Costijn says. I especially agree with the last remark of JFK. We should just get more speed into the flocks. With the new range of wingsuits, flocking will just become easier with more speed. And especially more fun and cool
  3. Thanks Costyn, you're too kind. You also rock with your classic, just wait till you get larger wings!
  4. This weekend was great! James, thanks for lending me your Vampire and all your instructions! I really really really want one!!! I would also like to thank the broke flyer for lending me his S3. 13 days to go, lets do some great flocking in Seedorf! I'm off now to find a job to pay for all this fun Tristan Will you answer "NO" to my next question?
  5. I know, they give licenses to just about anyone these days. and yes, I finally got it! It's true what everyone is saying. The trick is not to think. Lets not mention our jump ever again. Tristan Will you answer "NO" to my next question?
  6. Skydive Zeeland totally rocks! When the whole of Holland is covered with thick dark clouds, Zeeland is totally jumpable. And some great jumping we did! Great people, totally worth the long drive. It was fun seeing my brothers childhood friend jumping there and making our first jump together. It's a small world
  7. Hey J-lo, Next time, when Jarno is busy taking weird photos of his large nose, give me a call, ok? Tristan Tristan Will you answer "NO" to my next question?
