  3. whatabout this? camera without handstrap is 54mm, box is 63mm at camera body section (9mm = side walls + screw heads + small space for fine yaw adjustment). my pictures
  4. do you use skylite/skylite2/skylight2 or something you built for yourself? btw nice setup... my pictures
  5. i think i know what are you looking for, do you remember name of that video to help me find it? my pictures
  6. i read this and this and cannot find any advantages worth double price of BH-FTP. and am i reading it right, this helmet uses scuba hood instead of liners? my pictures
  7. sorry for my ignorance, but what do you mean with that "quality", what's so special on these helmets? my pictures
  8. i dont think it is available in german or english language but if you need something maybe i can find and translate it for you my pictures
  9. smaller amounts = higher prices (significantly, for these materials) if you are going to start directly with carbon fibre, i wish you good luck and lot of patience, you will be surprised how much material (+ time and nerves) you will spend to achieve acceptable result. my pictures
  10. cannot even imagine doing it this way but appreciate your design (copying diameter of lens to have it protected), i never understand the point of having camera covered in box while large lens sticking out (which is most vulnerable part) my pictures
  11. looks nice man, how are you going to attach the hypeye? looks as though its made for a right side mount, thats where the hypeye cable goes into the cam. does it use a screw to attach the cam to the box??? becouse it is as narrow as possible (handstrap needs to be removed), hypeye sticks out of box, just behind helmet's sidemount flat surface. there is very tight fit around lens and battery, so if you rely on locking system, you do not really need bottom screw. my pictures
  12. prototype of mine, extra slim for sidemount (cx-105 + raynox-3032) my pictures
  13. at least the idea of stacking wideangle lens seems be possible http://www.schneideroptics.com/ecommerce/CatalogItemDetail.aspx?CID=1085&IID=1362 my pictures
  14. which camera do you mean? do you mean additional wideangle lens? becouse EX-F1 has threading for lens. and i am very happy with it. my pictures
  15. uploaded mine, like "less" variant a bit more. my pictures
  16. i disagree with: "Trust me on this one, you DON'T want to be shooting 30p..... Your skydiving footage will be jerky as hell..... You'll hate it, guaranteed." i don't have experience with HMC150, so maybe something is wrong with this camera. hope skydivingmovies.com will be online again, i will upload something to compare. the note about mov is just a note... and i agree 60p would be better :-D my pictures
  17. i don't agree, my camera is doing 720p30 (avchd in *.mov) and i am very happy with quality, it is at least comparable with cx-105 (if not better). my pictures
  18. maybe P-1U (picture) my pictures
  19. cx100 has plastic filter threading, so if you use aluminium stepring, hitting something will probably cause ripping it off (you loose lens + stepring + damage that part of camera). if you use plastic stepring, you loose lens + damaged stepring, filter threading may survive it. my pictures
  20. cx100 boxes are wider not becouse hypeye unit but its connector my pictures
  21. i think raynox 3032, it is top quality, not so big and heavy as babydeath and you can zoom (with babydeath you cannot). i suggest 0,3 lens becouse in my opinion cx 100 field of view is quite narrow. my pictures
  22. the main difference is that even lens have their resolution (don't know how exactly it works, just for having some idea about it). lens with low resolution are SD, with high resolution are HD (again, no idea what is critical number to be considered as HD). and note that resolution is in centre of lens and it is significantly lower on the edges. as far as i know only raynox is publishing resolution of their lens what makes them look as a very serious company for me (also with sample pictures and comparative videos on their website). my pictures
  23. idrankwhat> a piece of gaffers tape solves it DSE> where i can find schumacher cx100 box, i cannot find it at gethypoxic my pictures
  24. if you are looking for slim fit, i don't think you can beat this. helmet is older tonfly basic, and the lens is raynox 3032 mentioned above... for more pictures click here my pictures
