I asked the same question. Someone told me that when you turn your head you are also turning your body slightly and the effect is like a corkscrew in the air, which results in a turn. It kind of makes sense. ... Marion

FYI... Got to the dropzone, asked the Safety & Training guy (Joe) who assured me it would open fine. I jumped it and it opened like I had packed it the day before ! 13 weeks in the closet... no problem. ... Marion

I will be jumping next weekend, coming off a lay off due to an injury. When I jump next weekend, the rig will have hung on pegs in a climate controlled room for thirteen weeks. Should I repack my Triathlon 190 canopy or should it open fine? Opinions? ... Marion

You need the audibles, no doubt. However, you definately need to be able to look at the alti on your wrist while in a sit. Learn to do that. Don't depend solely on the audible. ... Marion

I am new to freeflying and have about 25 sit fly jumps now. I can hold a sit stable throughout the dive and can do a flip or a cartwheel and get right back in it. My problem is fall rate. I tend to be be falling too slowly. Can someone give me tips on what controls fall rate, and what to do to fall faster. ... Marion

I bought a Triathlon and have about 65 jumps on it. It is my first and only rig so can't really compare, but I do like it a lot. Very soft openings. It is a good first canopy, very forgiving. Getting a brand new canopy for a used canopy price sounds good. ... Marion
