  9. I have a fairly new Rawa helmet. I want to cut a small part of the camera box off -- shortening the section that protects the lens, which is currently too long for a new lens I want to start using. Has anyone cut on this type of helmet? (I think it is carbon fibre) Are special tools required? What do I need to watch out for? ... Marion
  10. I got my Rawa from Aerostore as well and was pleased with the helmet and their service. I agree with the others, however, buy a cheap Protec or something until you are ready to fly the camera. ... Marion

  13. I did my first ever night jump this past weekend. I was pretty nervous. I was relieved when I was out of the plane and realized I could see my altimeter and see where I was supposed to land. Landing went fine, no depth perception issues or anything. I loved the sensation of falling through the cool night air. I will definatley do it again given the chance if all the conditions are right. It was the highlight of a great weekend. ... Marion

  22. I am in the market for a Sony, probably either HC46 or HC90. I am checking around for prices. I found a couple of web sites with fantastic prices. Is there any negative reason these may be great prices? They say it is the same as if I bought it from Best Buy. The sites I have found with good prices are: Butterfly Photo, The New Connection and Digital Photo. I like the price but don't want to regret it later. Any advice would be appreciated. ... Marion

  24. I also have a Triathlon 190 that I bought new one year ago. I load it at about 1.0. I have about 100 jumps on it and have only had one opening that I would describe as hard. It did not leave bruises, but it put a kink in my back for a few days. I am a newbie, but from what I read here, I think it just happens sometimes, no matter what you are jumping or how well you pack. I still love my Triathlon. Glad you are ok. ... Marion
