    Predation of feral hogs by coyotes is a slim chance, it is probably going to happen the other way around. Hell I wish I could hunt feral hogs here, pork is not wrong. WI now has them, I am really trying to organize our group to go up there and hunt several square miles. Drive and ambush is about the best thing, that or baiting them. If you have the funds, get a night vision scope and an AR15 or other high power semi auto. A friend of mine did this in AR and they donated three semi trailers of hogs to the needy, the meat was really appreciated. Trailers were loaned and butchering was donated by several locals.

    Not at all, it merely means they need to heed the warnings and act appropriately and in time. Just look back at past events like these and it is easy to see that lack of preparedness.

    Shooting is only one step of many that must be taken. Prosecution is another. Coyotes learn fast and we only fool ourselves that we can deter them or simply move them a few miles away. In fact taking them hundreds of miles away is just dumping the problem on someone else. They are in far greater populations here than you would see in the west. Next to my home is a series of forest preserves. The coyotes number in the hundreds and it is the largest pack in northern Illinois. Coyotes have taken many pets, chased an elderly neighbor into her home and bounced off her door. They have also chased deer into IL RT58, IL59 and IL19 causing deaths to motorists as well as motorcyclists When you see a straight stretch of road with quite a few crosses in the ditches where people have either swerved and crashed or hit deer, resulting in multiple vehicle accidents with fatalities it sinks in.

    Why would I laugh, my point was merely that some people will constantly panic. I think you missed my point. Hey guess what? When people failed to evacuate in 1983 guess who got to go get them? Yeah, that was a real hoot. they send hundreds of us out there because some people would simply not listen. Now I can understand the elderly or infirmed, but if you had enough time to watch TV you certainly had enough time to pack your bags and get out of low lying places or the base of slopes that had been burned. This is CA, nothing new about mudslides, people should be well prepared. I live next to an area that floods quite often, I see the same lax attitude to getting out or being prepared.

We had people honking their horns and flipping us off while we were in a convoy because we had to pass them during a rain storm.

Hmmm, feeding coyotes is a crime, encouraging them to get close to humans where they can easily prey on young kids or old people and pets and you think they should not become a prime example of why this should not happen?     If so please contact me via PM. I am looking to find more properties to hunt on, so far I only have 2 farms and one needs to get permission from the chief of police because a subdivision has been built adjacent to his 300 acres. That is a real shame a man has not even had his land annexed and his family has been on that land for over 100 years, now he has to ask permission to kill the coyotes that prey on his calves and cats. WTF is wrong with this world? Apparently some of the people in the subdivision have been feeding the coyotes because they love to see them. I hope they get mauled.

    You need to determine if it is from the pan, the drain plug or the lines. I am doubtful it is the seals.

    You have a warranty on that trans rebuild. If it is just minor leakage (quart a month) leave it alone. Leakers never have rusted out floor boards.

    wear sunglasses, it works to help protect the eye from fluids plus it also makes the eye less sensitive to light while healing
