***If I had a standard Beetle, then *maybe* but then again, I hate seeing good bugs all cut up. True there is no need to cut that one up from what I can see in the pictures. I used to live in Germany back in the the early 80's and used to love seeing Hans the local VW mechanic racing up and down the Autobahn out running Porches like they were anemic. Damn I bet those rich guys were really sad that they could have only gone faster by being towed by Hans The interesting parts is he would say the same thing my dad said about our corvair turbo spyder wagon. "If you want to know when to shift the car just floor it and when the valves start to float/ignition breaks up... shift it!"

Tea?? Unless it's a LONG ISLAND ICED TEA it's crap! As was mentioned...the Boston Tea Party showed you guys what we think the real use for tea is...to feed to bottom dwelling fish in the harbor! No arguments about the US BIG beer companies though...yuck! Thats why there are now about ten thousand micro brews here that are TOP NOTCH. Now...what's the deal with British food? As Douglas Adams wrote regarding sandwiches: "Make 'em dry" .."make 'em rubbery...if you have to keep the buggers fresh, do it by washing 'em once a week." We should have just attacked them with animals with laser beams on their friggin heads! and kept the tea to drink after our swift victory.

SEAL Falls on Grenade to Save Comrades Friday, October 13, 2006 3:02 PM EDT The Associated Press By THOMAS WATKINS CORONADO, Calif. (AP) — A Navy SEAL sacrificed his life to save his comrades by throwing himself on top of a grenade Iraqi insurgents tossed into their sniper hideout, fellow members of the elite force said. Petty Officer 2nd Class Michael A. Monsoor had been near the only door to the rooftop structure Sept. 29 when the grenade hit him in the chest and bounced to the floor, said four SEALs who spoke to The Associated Press this week on condition of anonymity because their work requires their identities to remain secret. "He never took his eye off the grenade, his only movement was down toward it," said a 28-year-old lieutenant who sustained shrapnel wounds to both legs that day. "He undoubtedly saved mine and the other SEALs' lives, and we owe him." Monsoor, a 25-year-old gunner, was killed in the explosion in Ramadi, west of Baghdad. He was only the second SEAL to die in Iraq since the war began. Two SEALs next to Monsoor were injured; another who was 10 to 15 feet from the blast was unhurt. The four had been working with Iraqi soldiers providing sniper security while U.S. and Iraqi forces conducted missions in the area. In an interview at the SEALs' West Coast headquarters in Coronado, four members of the special force remembered "Mikey" as a loyal friend and a quiet, dedicated professional. "He was just a fun-loving guy," said a 26-year-old petty officer 2nd class who went through the grueling 29-week SEAL training with Monsoor. "Always got something funny to say, always got a little mischievous look on his face." Other SEALS described the Garden Grove, Calif., native as a modest and humble man who drew strength from his family and his faith. His father and brother are former Marines, said a 31-year-old petty officer 2nd class. Prior to his death, Monsoor had already demonstrated courage under fire. He has been posthumously awarded the Silver Star for his actions May 9 in Ramadi, when he and another SEAL pulled a team member shot in the leg to safety while bullets pinged off the ground around them. Monsoor's funeral was held Thursday at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego. He has also been submitted for an award for his actions the day he died. The first Navy SEAL to die in Iraq was Petty Officer 2nd Class Marc A. Lee, 28, who was killed Aug. 2 in a firefight while on patrol against insurgents in Ramadi. Navy spokesman Lt. Taylor Clark said the low number of deaths among SEALs in Iraq is a testament to their training. Sixteen SEALs have been killed in Afghanistan. Eleven of them died in June 2005 when a helicopter was shot down near the Pakistan border while ferrying reinforcements for troops pursuing al-Qaida militants. There are about 2,300 of the elite fighters, based in Coronado and Little Creek, Va. The Navy is trying to boost that number by 500 — a challenge considering more than 75 percent of candidates drop out of training, notorious for "Hell Week," a five-day stint of continual drills by the ocean broken by only four hours sleep total. Monsoor made it through training on his second attempt. -

'Borat' Defends Portrayal of Kazakhstan

'Borat' Defends Portrayal of Kazakhstan Thursday, October 12, 2006 4:44 PM EDT The Associated Press AMSTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) — The comedian known as "Borat" appeared briefly in Amsterdam Thursday, praising the city's freewheeling nightlife and defending his portrayal of the central Asian country of Kazakhstan. Borat boasted of picking up a date at a popular Amsterdam bar known as a gay meeting place. "This woman reminded me of Kazakhi woman, she was more tall than me, with hair on arms, and some hair on face, and deep voice," he told the Dutch press. Borat Sagdiyev, played by British comic Sacha Baron Cohen, has been criticized as a homophobic, misogynistic, English-mangling caricature — the very traits that endear him to fans of his satire. Kazakhstan's government placed four-page advertising inserts in the New York Times and the International Herald Tribune last month, countering Borat's portrayal of the ex-Soviet country as a backward place. Borat said Thursday the ads were placed by agents of neighboring Uzbekistan and threatened to "commence bombardment of their cities with our catapults," if they do not stop. In reality, Kazakhstan profiles itself as a forward-looking pro-Western nation, with double-digit economic growth and immense oil reserves. Last month, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with U.S. President George W. Bush to discuss economic ties. Borat claimed that the true aim of Nazarbayev's trip was to promote Cohen's new film, "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Quote He is funny as can be and Ali G wasn't too bad either! -

They forgot OGA contractors, they don't know why the snake just blew themselves up after getting into the car with three other well known snakes. Then they would gives two reasonable stories to leak to the press. A: It must have been spontaneous combustion. B: They were all going to a weenie roast and got so excited, that they decided to hold one right there in the car.

I am sure his stop at the DZ was quite innocent and he wasn't really looking at how to do anything nefarious.

Yes they do John, our not so wonderful Gov. Blowjobabich has cut spending on ALOT of great outdoor recreation opportunities. Hunting has been affected as well even though he claims that he has expanded hunting opportunities for all. I would also like to say I was quite disgusted to see litter trewn on some of the trails. I was quite disgusted to see someone throw a glass bottle into a canyon and wanted to throw them over the side to retrieve it.
