RPG's are kind of a drag...ballistics like a frisbee. If you want something cool get a Javelin.

Well said! I want one as well, and a .338 Lapua. I guess if I do buy them it will be an M96 Windrunner with both bbls.

Army sergeant refuses third Iraq tour

Did you serve in the military? I doubt if more than 5% of the guys in boot camp with me fully understood the contract. Hell, the company commander couldn't even read. He always had one of the recruits do the reading. Are you serious???? He must have forgotten the sarcasm icon. -
Do it, do not televise or photograph it, nor ever publicize it, in any way shape or form. Execute him and then be done with it, there will be no martyr, nor victim, nor any more argument. It should just dissapear as some footnote in history. Saddam himself would not have spent so much time and money to execute anyone, why should we?

Man Detained After Hijacking Attempt
warpedskydiver replied to warpedskydiver's topic in Speakers Corner
Man Detained After Hijacking Attempt Thursday, December 28, 2006 10:22 AM EST The Associated Press By NADIA RYBAROVA PRAGUE, Czech Republic (AP) — A passenger claiming to have an explosive device tried to hijack a Russian airliner over Europe on Thursday, but was subdued by other people on board, authorities said. The Russian man was detained after the Aeroflot Airbus A320 made an emergency landing at Prague's international airport, police said. Authorities said they did not suspect terrorism. The plane was en route from Moscow to Geneva when the man apparently tried to break into the cockpit, demanding the pilots fly to Africa, police spokesman Pavel Hantak said. The man claimed he had an explosive device, Aeroflot deputy director Lev Koshlyakov told Russia's Rossiya television. The suspect was then "pacified on board the plane," allowing the pilots to make an emergency landing, Hantak said. Two Czech jet fighters were dispatched, but no intervention was necessary, said Czech Defense Ministry spokesman Andrej Cirtek. Police were searching the plane for explosives, Hantak said. Authorities did not suspect a terror plot, said Jan Subert, spokesman for the Czech counterintelligence service. "From what we know, the incident had nothing to do with terrorism," he said. The suspect was traveling with eight family members, including three children, Hantak said. He said the family members were not involved in the incident. -

18 year olds, for the most part, are immature children. They have no advanced education, little life experience, and are not afforded all of the legal rights of adulthood in the USA. (drinking, gambling, etc) I'm glad the genius users of dz.com all read and understood every aspect of every legal contract and enlistment document they signed at the age of 18, but the fact is, a large portion of those who sign do not. And comparing making a skydive to signing your life over to uncle Sam for 8 years is invalid, sorry. TWO WORDS: Personal Responsibilty Guess what? Rob a bank @ 18yrs of age, go to jail. Get married @ 18yrs, don't go crying about your youth being lost. Go to war @ 18yrs of age: Try and survive, do your duty, and shut the fuck up. Skydive @ 18yrs : Sign the waiver and jump, if you live no biggie, if not, nobody forced you, you are an ADULT. -

18 yr old "children"? WTF? I know it may not have been what you intended to say. When has an adult of 18yrs of age ever been a "child"? -
Sounds like a great endorsement. Shooting anything with a compensator instead of a flash suppressor, is a bad thing when it is dark.

EXIT SAFETY! It is not just for planes anymore!

NYPD Bullet Kills Groom on Wedding Day

No doubt - a 31 million grain projectile (4k lb car) beats 230 grains every time!! I know that *IF* I was in that situation, I'd do my damndest to make that unknown person (the operative term here, I believe) a flat spot in the road! Force Protection 101: "The driver does not need to draw a weapon, it is already under his control." A car wins in a gunfight. UNLESS the shooters are not in the path of the car! Anyone doubting this information can do an experiment. Take an old car that is a junk preferably, Hook it up to a pulley system and pull it straight down a taxiway or pavement. Shoot at the car with a handgun all you like as it accelerates towards the shooters position. See if the car gives a shit as it runs you over, after striking you, and throwing your body many yards. -
WTF? Karen, I guess some people can't fathom having at least a Benelli or similar around. You want something really well made?, get out your checkbook. As you well know... I have spent nearly 2k on one rifle so far, and it isn't even up and running yet. But I did save some cash by using a scope I already owned, it's a Leupold, but I wish it was a U.S. OPTICS.
