  1. Put a roast in a crock pot with garlic, sea salt, pepper and red pepper flakes, a pinch of oregano. What you will get is a roast that falls apart and you can use it for italian beef sandwiches, use vinegar pepperoncini peppers to dress up the sandwich. I hope that helps, who killed the moose?
  2. If it is gamey, I suspect someone has given you meat that was well past its useful purposes. If however the meat is fresh and you still have that problem, it could very well be the processing, game need only be hung long enough to drain it, before butchering. It is not the same as beef in that repect, beef can require a good deal of aging to be tender, and let some of the connective tissue break down. However if none of those reasons apply, grind it or make jerky. You can use it in chili or whatever else you use hamburger for, the stronger spices may make it palatable to you.
  3. That just makes them easier to catch leaving the scene of a crime.
  4. Yep and canning works better than freezing when there is no electricty
  5. Most of my tomato crop was devastated by the four days of torrential rain and strong winds, some were measured well above 70mph. If I had to guess about the wind speed of the very first burst, I would say it was around 80mph. Today I will pick whatever is left and ripened, the ground is strewn with rotten smashed tomatos, that were just about ready when the storm hit. So far I was only able to can two dozen jars of home made pasta sauce. I usually get at least seven dozen quarts.
  6. Fish scare you because bluegills might mistake your weenie for a red worm.
  7. I am suprised, pikey's usually refuse to bathe. I hope you threw in a bar of soap, that would chase him right out!
  8. I don't get angry very easily, annoyed and disgusted yes, but someone has to really push to make me truly angry, or do something very very bad. When that happens, I lay down and cry like a little girl.
  9. I have been past SVS before, just did not get a chance to stop in there.
  10. http://www.teslamotors.com/ How about this car? 135 MPG Only $98,950 nicely equipped
  11. I decided to give Turtle the day off.
  12. You just wanna visit a school for wayward young women, over 18yrs of age, admit it
  13. She better hope she never grows old, ugly, or loose.
  14. The engine is finished being rebuilt, new rings, new gasket set, and some tweaking on the throttle/govenor. All seems well, started on the first try. It was making some valve noise, so I adjusted them, and now it really runs well. No smoking at all, and it runs around 3800rpm. So the conclusion is yes, the rings can be worthless at only 302hrs on an engine! The good thing is, I spent only 160 bucks in parts, and some time. Now on to sharpen the blades once I get them off the deck and reinstall the deck, and mow the living shit out of my yard. The push mower was working fine, but my knees won't hurt so much after speed mowing a half acre with ditches, and a steep slope on a third of it
  15. I know that, what I am saying is that an engine of 1300cc to maybe 1600cc will easily power reasonable sized vehicles, especially if it has a turbocharger on it. 1300cc Turbo Busa motor will easily make 300hp
  16. Check out the Polaris Ranger RZR, things are getting closer all the time. And it is only 800cc, imagine what you can do with a 1300CC GSXR motor, tuned to run better at lower rpm, the power band would need to be from 1500rpm to around 8000rpm. that would definately allow for a slightly heavier vehicle in the same or larger frame size.
  17. The problem may be that the average car driver has less knowledge of engines, and subsequent pwer output than a typical motorcyclist. So to them, more cylinders seems like it has more power.
  18. When I lived in CA, Napa was just a place in the country, no big deal except it was a nice place to road race on the local roads, illegally of course. But there were a couple of places that had wine.
  19. Sulfadene, an old product that works very well, also stops them from chewing and licking it.
  20. Watch out, now he is gonna be hell bent on banging you. Some sort of Scot ritualistic behaviour!
  21. How come your Dad did not paint his face half blue?
  22. Raleigh bikes give you alot more for the money. Get some tires that have little rolling resistance. I just got some Senfas Drifters in 26" x1.5" with FPS (Flat Protection System) The will fit a mountain bike rim and offer really nice riding, unless you are going to be riding off-road always. Check out the Raleigh 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0 That's a lot of bike for your cash. And a very comfortable ride as well.
  23. Yeah and when you have established a tolerance to CS, and can hold your breath a long time, you can sucker other people into removing their masks. That is until someone uses alot more of it...
  24. The boys will be over shortly. Ask and ye shall receive Want to use CN plus Oleoresin Capsacium or just plain Capsacium? Do not use the stuff with the UV dye in it as in can hurt your eyes. Honestly I could have someone do it for you, that knows what they are doing.
