By the way, have you read any of my fairly recent posts on 2nd Amendment analysis or proposed gun statutes dealing with assault weapons? I'm presuming you have.Quote Andy maybe you should state exactly how you feel about the issue in one clear, concise, and brief statement.

Debate on Cheney impeachment averted
warpedskydiver replied to masterblaster72's topic in Speakers Corner
Lucky to call someone on this forum a Nazi is disingenous, callous, shitty and deserving of a slap down. Maybe you might want to retract that statement. That is one of the most vile things you could say about someone. I may say it about the hildebeast, but she has really earned it, the woman believes she is the most fair minded and liberal thinking person who ever lived, so fair in fact that she can decide which of us should be able to keep our god given, constitutionally gauranteed rights. -
Actually in one of the talks he gave some time ago he stated the war on drugs has failed miserbly, and that people need treatment for drug abuse, not incarceration. He did state drug dealers do need to be stopped. Same with the border policy, which kinda goes hand in hand.

It certainly can happen. After boresighting it is common practice to pull a patch through, at least if you are thorough. Bet someone had to buy a new bbl, and change their underwear.

November 2, 2007 Arizona Republic LAS VEGAS - Republican presidential candidate Fred Thompson suggested on Thursday that Democratic rival Hillary Clinton's lack of clarity in her answers at a Tuesday debate raises questions about her ability to handle diplomacy. Addressing a crowd of Republican donors, the former Tennessee senator joined Clinton's Democratic opponents in seizing on her debate answer on whether she supported a plan by New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer to grant drivers' licenses to illegal immigrations. Thompson said he opposes granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. At first, Clinton appeared to praise the plan. Pressed later in the debate, she seemed to backtrack, saying that she didn't say it should be done. Her campaign sought to clarify her comments on Wednesday, saying she supported the governor's effort. "Yes, it's about Hillary, and we have our fun, but it's also about something else," Thompson said. "When our worst enemy sits down at the negotiating table and looks across the table . . . the question is, 'Who do we want on the other side of that table facing them?' " Responding to the criticism, Clinton spokeswoman Hilarie Grey said if the New York senator is at that table, "they'll face someone who has the strength and experience to protect America's standing in the world and reverse the disastrous Bush foreign policies."

The fence is somewhat irrelavant, it may give a surveyor some clue as to what happened but in the end it is just a fence. Is a horse Paddock something the delineates property lines? A dog Kennel? The property irons actually do not mean all that much, the junior senior rights, historical evidence from the time the land was homesteaded, and measurements taken and compared to what is found is what matters. A property iron can be in the wrong place and all it becomes is a place to describe where the corner lies. For instance the FIP (found Iron Pipe) can be 0.20' North and 1.53' East of the corner, the corner has not moved, the pipe has either been errantly placed or moved by others. What is also taken into account is the equipment and methods in use at the time the land was initially divided. I hope that the attorneys who read this will remember what I say so they will not fail themselves and their clients if the needs arises for them to show some knowledge of what surveyors do, and why they are telling you something that you may or may not like, even if you are the one paying them.

"I'm sorry, I can't recall". Where did I put it.

When you kick the bucket ask Reagan all about it, he may answer you, or just treat you like cordwood. And you bitch about people rehashing the Klinton presedency, well at least there is a reason we talk about it. Hitlery is running for POTUS. Is Ollie North running for office? Did he not do the job asked of him? Did he fail to do whatever was neccessary to protect our country? Did he fail his commission as a USMC officer? Did he fail his oath as NSA? BTW you can always look him up and give him a piece of your mind in person. Reagan is dead and cannot speak for himself BTW -

Heck there may be someone on this forum that rubbed elbows with him, and may have been quite enamored of him. I think that may be a very well founded assertion. -

I was of the opinion that George Ryan was a criminal and a true asshole who would value money over lives and the welfare of those he was to be watching over, even before he became govenor. The fact that he was at the helm of the Secretary of states office when the illegally licensed driver confessed to having paid for his CDL, after he was arrested in connection with the death of the pastors children on I-94, was a huge warning sign that a career criminal was running for govenor. I did not vote for him, did you? Now what was it you were saying? -
I belive you have hit the nail on the head with your assessment, not learning from past international experiences will surely doom us to suffer to fate of the past. Pacifism, failure to engage in diplomacy ,and if needed military action, could give us a repeat of what set the stage for WWII

Ill. Governors' Office Rocked by Scandal In this April 18, 2007 file picture, Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich speaks at the 45th Annu... By JOHN O'CONNOR, AP Thu Nov 8, 7:28 AM EST It might seem incredible that as a former Illinois governor reports to federal prison, the current chief faces similar misconduct allegations, from handing out state contracts as political rewards to accepting money under suspicious circumstances. But this is Illinois. Democrat Rod Blagojevich, who won the chief executive's office five years ago on a promise to clean up former Gov. George Ryan's mess, has wound up besieged by accusations. Two people already have pleaded guilty to federal charges in a shakedown scheme that also ensnared one of the governor's closest fundraisers. And federal prosecutors have acknowledged they are also investigating "serious allegations of endemic hiring fraud" under Blagojevich. Jay Stewart, executive director of the Better Government Association, blames an arrogant political culture in Illinois where the philosophy is "take what you can get." "It's not about serving the people," Stewart said. "It's not even about serving partisan interests. It's about enriching yourself and your friends." A Blagojevich aide noted that prosecutors are examining all levels of government, not just the state Capitol. The governor has not been charged with any wrongdoing. Ryan, a Republican, entered a federal prison in Oxford, Wis., on Wednesday after the U.S. Supreme Court denied him bail while he appeals his April 2006 conviction on racketeering and fraud charges. The decade-long investigation began with the sale of driver's licenses for bribes and led to the conviction of dozens of people who worked for Ryan when he was secretary of state and governor. Blagojevich said he was different, declaring upon taking office in 2003 that he would "shake up a system in Springfield that accepts corruption." But Antoin "Tony" Rezko, a Blagojevich political confidant and friend, is under indictment, accused of seeking campaign contributions from investment companies in exchange for getting them business with a state pension fund. In one case, the indictment claims Rezko demanded a company make a $1.5 million contribution to "a certain public official." That was Blagojevich, according to a person familiar with the investigation, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the probe is continuing. The administration also has been accused of trading state jobs, appointments and contracts for political contributions. And a friend whose wife had just gotten a state job gave Blagojevich a check for $1,500. The governor said it was a gift for one of his daughters, but he wasn't sure which one. Also, federal prosecutors have subpoenaed records from Blagojevich's political campaign fund, according to the Chicago Tribune. Ryan's campaign committee was convicted of racketeering in 2003. Taxpayers just shake their heads. "Setting the bar at a level of honest, competent government should not be an unattainable goal," said Rep. John Fritchey, a Chicago Democrat and legislative leader on ethics issues. Blagojevich spokeswoman Abby Ottenhoff said Blagojevich signed tough ethics legislation that created an independent inspector general, unlike what she called the "puppet" who served Ryan as secretary of state and was convicted of obstructing inquiries. Blagojevich also is not the only one under the gun. Ottenhoff pointed to recent convictions for improper political hiring at Chicago City Hall. "In recent years, we've seen government at every level is under closer scrutiny and we think that's good for the system," Ottenhoff said. Former U.S. Attorney William Roberts, now in private practice, represented at least two dozen people questioned in the Ryan case. He said he has never seen "a more intense investigation" and doesn't see the government easing up. "One wonders why anyone who reads the papers would get within a mile of questionable conduct," Roberts said. Copyright 2007 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. Obama an adjacent lot to Obama's home, the lot was valued at $450,000 -

Add a half shot of bourbon to it along with the confectioners sugar. Also see if you can get fresh heavy cream from a local dairy. The bourbon flavored whipped cream is excellent on pecan/pumpkin/sweet potato pies, and bread pudding Pannetone bread pudding is out of this world, try it out, make sure to make amaretto sauce to cover it with...mmmmmm

Real improvents would have to been done. Fences and or gravel paths are not construed as real improvements.

You have posted an articulate, well thought out, and factual statement. Sadly many America haters, some of whom are citizens of the USA, and possibly a few on these boards will dismiss anything you just posted as "rubbish" But yet the will not be able to refute the facts you presented. All they will do is whine, post hyperbole, and continue to spew their brand of hatred. It seems that some of the most recent persons the become american citizens are the most patriotic these days. I think the reason why is they know the truth.

Quick, go paint a large cardboard tube green, and point it at the plane. Then report back...nevermind we will see you on the news.

That was a classic misapplication of adverse possession, I and many other Land Surveyors would testify that adverse possession had not occurred. This was a developed city lot, they had not built a house or similar structure on it. You cannot stand by and watch someone build on your property and complain later, but if you find that that have built on your property without your knowledge then you can make them pay, or just take said real improvements. The Kirlins should appeal, and hire a well known and highly respected land surveyor, he will rebutt any assertions the tresspassers and their lawyer makes. When in court the plaintiffs lawyers asks what the surveyors job is and a brief description, then askas the tresspassers and their lawyers what there expertise is, their testimony will be treated just like the worthless and uneducated opinion it is. Lawyers are not land surveyors, they can argue what they think the law means, but in the end the surveyor is the expert and is recognized as such by the courts, this has precedence in all 50 states. The only way a lawyer can successfully argue against a surveyor and possibly prevail, is if the lawyer is himself a surveyor. I have witnessed this many times in court. The firms I worked for were two of the most highly regarded in the state, and in the country. One of our chief surveyors was licensed in all 50 states, and PR. Another surveyor we had was the great great grandson of John Cabot Smith. His grandfather was resposible for the ante fire layout of chicago, and the post fire reconstruction of said properties. Chicago is the single hardest surveying nightmare that ever occurred, and smith thankfully was co author of Greely's atlas, a document produced ante fire by Greely Howard Norlin and Smith. There are only two copies in existance, one belongs to the chicago historical society, and the other is in the vault at National Survey Service. Chicago had sued to get the copy from the Historical society, and lost that case, they then filed suit to take the copy that belonged to National, they were rejected by the court as not having merit. I like one a judege once told a high powered lawyer "Sir you are not a Land Surveyor, so don't try and pretend, now sit down and be quiet, or I shall find you in contempt" Hey but what would I know as I was merely the chief research anaylist. One of you people should contact the Kirlins and let them know they have been screwed illegally by an ignorant judge. APPEAL! Furthermore the Kirlins should immediatly erect a high chain link fence and post no tresspassing signs. There is nothing that can be done to stop them. Have a surveryor standing by the day the fence goes up.
