Obama claimed today that he had never heard the good Pastor Wright make the inflammatory racist & anti-American comments that are making the rounds in the media. I guess Obama flat out forgot that he referenced that particular sermon (or one of many just like it) in his FIRST BOOK... ""Dreams of My Father" The title of Reverend Wright’s sermon that morning was “The Audacity of Hope.” He began with a passage from the Book of Samuel—the story of Hannah, who, barren and taunted by her rivals, had wept and shaken in prayer before her God. The story reminded him, he said, of a sermon a fellow pastor had preached at a conference some years before, in which the pastor described going to a museum and being confronted by a painting title Hope. “The painting depicts a harpist,” Reverend Wright explained, “a woman who at first glance appears to be sitting atop a great mountain. Until you take a closer look and see that the woman is bruised and bloodied, dressed in tattered rags, the harp reduced to a single frayed string. Your eye is then drawn down to the scene below, down to the valley below, where everywhere are the ravages of famine, the drumbeat of war, a world groaning under strife and deprivation. “It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!” And so it went, a meditation on a fallen world. While the boys next to me doodled on their church bulletin, Reverend Wright spoke of Sharpsville and Hiroshima, the callousness of policy makers in the White House and in the State House. As the sermon unfolded, though, the stories of strife became more prosaic, the pain more immediate. The reverend spoke of the hardship that the congregation would face tomorrow, the pain of those far from the mountaintop, worrying about paying the light bill… corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=NzUyZDAyMzBjMTAxMmI5NTI2OWU2NmE3OWY5YjYxMjQ=

Which do you agree with regarding terrorist attacks?

How about right here http://www.jfednepa.org/mark%20silverberg/wahhabi.html Reza F. Safa, author of Inside Islam, estimates that since 1973, the Saudi government has spent an unbelievable $87B to promote Wahhabism in the United States, Africa, Southeast Asia and Europe. According to official Saudi information, Saudi funds have been used to build and maintain over 1,500 mosques, 202 colleges, 210 Islamic Centers wholly or partly financed by Saudi Arabia, and almost 2,000 schools for educating Muslim children in non-Islamic countries in Europe, North and South America, Australia and Asia. The Kingdom has fully or partially financed Islamic Centers in Los Angeles; San Francisco; Fresno; Chicago; New York; Washington; Tucson; Raleigh, N.C. and Toledo, Ohio as well as in Austria, Great Britain, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Russia, Turkey, and even in some Muslim countries such as Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia and Djibuti. Say in aint so -
Would you have shot Dr. Mengele in the head? Adolf Eichmann? Or do you not possess the courage and conviction to do so? Not intended as a slam against you, but rather posed as a serious question.

I might be more inclined to furnish him a firearm, set him loose on 640 acres of land, and let the hunt begin. I would not hold a gun to his head and squeeze the trigger. I would however stand back about 15 feet, it can make a terrible mess. For what he has done, and what he stands for, as well as his wishes to harm more innocents, killing him would be less eventful as wiping dogshit off of my shoe.

Reminds me of when I was maybe 6 or 7 yrs old, I got my first S&W six guns, and double western holster/gunbelt.(all real) She said when it was time to take a bath I refused to do so without my boots and gunbelt. (in case of attack) Don't worry, I only got blanks unless I was going to the range. Those were the days.... Somewhwere my mom has a pic of me nekkid with the pistols/gun belt and cowboy boots. That kind of conflicts with the pics of me at 4yrs old wearing a rather nice shirt with tie, short pants and fedora, complete with Raybans. My Nono was so proud of me. At ten yrs old I was able to walk down Lake St. in Melrose Park with a ten dollar bill in my hand all the way to Cock Robin and back, a distance of three miles round trip, without any worries about being threatened or robbed. (1971) The only thing weird was that the pizza parlor and ice cream places would never take my money

Gee you think you would know someone, after fucking them like you were starring in a porn movie for two weeks.

What if I gave you the choice of putting the gun to their head and pulling the trigger - would you do it? Wow you really do not know me.

Weird Icelandic Singer has China in Panic.

I like to make up my own mind on all issues. I am conservative on a great many, and liberal on quite a few issues. The amazing thing is that some people paint all issues one way or another instead of realizing that their points of view are actually the same. A true conservative would want to uphold the constitution, and therefore negating what many conservatives believe to be good and sane laws. Liberals seem to also want to throw the baby out with the bath water, in that they also seek to modify the constitution to suit them, removing all that protected and provided them with their freedoms. Suprise, Suprise Harry Truman would go on a shooting spree if he were alive. Thomas Jefferson might just execute most politicians as the traitors they are. Is there any difference? not really -

Bill, you missed one point, the US Military and Government still hold some southern heroes in high regard I think there is a tiny scrap of land in Georgia somewhere that actually still bears one of their names. Ft. Benning Georgia. -

I think you are wrong in that people are not trying hard to attack us here. Not to belittle your opinion, but I don't think you would like what the outcome of ceasing to interdict terrorist activities both here, and abroad. -
Justice is a nice cozy cell, with cable TV, and visits with his friends? Or maybe the death penalty? What will it take for you to decide to put someone to death for planning the intentional death of thousands of innocent civilians? I really want to know.

Sounds like Forrest Whitaker in the Crying game Or like he had a gob full of shite. -
It may be discrimination, not racism. To discriminate is to notice a difference. To use discrimination as a basis for unfair treatment is racism.

You do realize there have only been THREE waterboarding incidents at the hands of US Intelligence right? That's right, just three. And the entire hand wringing planet is up in arms. But when people are slowly beheaded, oh well they deserve it according to those same hand wringers.

Jerk terrorist anybody? Feed him to a bunch of Pit bulls. I'm sure they'll find him quite tasty. You're simply making it worse. With statements like that, you're not so dissimilar from them. You should go offer them milk and cookies, maybe a massage and a reach around too.
