    Sounds like you were haling ass downhill and you impacted your toes into the front of the shoes. Don't you remember anything from your military service? Oh yeah, that's right you were on a helo crew Going downhill in ill fitted shoes/boots will tear your nails out and turn your toes into a hematoma. The way you lace your shoes up will affect that as well, if you have room to slip forward in your shoe due to gravity/force you will get that injury every time. I may not be able to run anymore, but I did run a great deal during my younger days, 3x a day at times. The course I ran rose 1400 feet and back down again. then back up and halfway down to finish. My feet were sore when I wore running shoes, nicely fitted combat boots did the best. Running shoes break down too fast. I was trying to get ready for selection.

    While carrying a Lorcin .25cal is not guaranteed by that cite you posted there is another few paragraphs that mention weapons of common military usage. So a belt-fed crew served weapon is covered by that. Grenade launchers, Shotguns, Rifle that are select-fire etc. are also included by the military use clause.

    Well there was his downfall, he was a lawyer. That is one profession that certainly attracts those who consider themselves above the law. IMHO Nixon was a good president, he served during some tough times and by today's standards, didn't do much wrong.
