We've had a TiVo box for several years now. It's broken and we are currently using a regular direct TV cable box. My daughter has never know regular TV. She asked me a bunch of questions... "Why can't I pause the show?" "Why can't I record a show?" "Where are all my shows?" "Why can't I fast forward through the commercials?" I explained to her that the TiVo is more like a computer with a hard drive and that we store our information on there and retrieve it later. Her last question, "So, I have to watch what's on when it's on?" I said, "Yes." "And I can't watch it again?" Her assessment... "That stinks mom." Jump, Land, Pack, Repeat...
