Hey tabacchim, Not really able to help on the camera thing as i don't fly one myself as i have too few jumps, but if you want a decent answer the people good at this kind of thing will probably want to know a load more information about you - how many camera jumps/total jumps you have, what you want it for (4-way, tandem etc), what helmet you have etc etc etc Oh and there are LOADS of threads about this already - try doing a forum search. Edited to add: And probably best to look in the "photography and video" forum first. hope this helps dave Never try to eat more than you can lift

Straight hijacking I'd say. We had best be careful though talking about guns - it'll get moved to SC by a moderator. Oh........... As far as Bond films go (desperately trying to bring it back on line!) anything with Sean Connery is good, and i have to say i reckon Brosnan is by far the best of the recent bonds, but I really liked OHMSS (I know loads of people will disagree). I think it was mainly because of the skiing. Never try to eat more than you can lift

UK Question - staying current?
Stumpy replied to darrenspooner's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I don't know about "rules" particularly (and you may well be right) but if you turn up at a dz with an A licence and 27 jumps after a 4 year layoff (like i did!) then i would be VERY surprised if the CCI let you jump without a checkout. I had to do an AFF level (6 or 7, or a combination of the two from memory) with the possibility of a follow up if there was anything i needed to work on. As for the originator of this thread though - should be fine. Never try to eat more than you can lift -

Thats a funny video - Cracked me up to see how much Jeffro was laughing as he was destroying a precision "something very small". He still had to cut about 10 lines before it really stopped flying though!!! Never try to eat more than you can lift

Happened to me too Dave - jump 3. Sure it went eventually but the video's kind of interesting.... Never try to eat more than you can lift

Is it common in the US to have places where they won't do a go around? That is the only real reason i can see that should give anyone any impatience in the door. I was second last out on a load at the Holiday boogie, pretty much all solo freeflyers, and the red light came on just before i exited, we got a go around, another 500 feet of altitude and a perfect spot (which was nice because i was demoing a canopy!) whats to get upset about!? Best Packs i've used bar none are MacPac. However since they are from NZ the price may be a little unfavourable for you guys. The reason i like them is they have the right balance of padding on the harness - too much is as bad as too little. If you can get them in the states, then have a look - you might like them. That web address doesn't seem to exist... but is the dz owned by a guy called Ray by any chance?? Never try to eat more than you can lift

I have a question - does a backfly have a similar speed range to normal belly to earth? It looks to me like it should be faster unless you are in a fairly uncomfortable position (barring wings of course) Cheers for any input Never try to eat more than you can lift

I'm no expert but i have the same problem when its really cold - but once i have started mine once and run it for a few minutes, it usually starts fine after that unless you let it cool down for a LONG time. Good luck! Never try to eat more than you can lift
