There's a reason for that Edited: coz Kele01 beat me Never try to eat more than you can lift
  2. I thought it was disappointing, It was pretty faithful to the story but it just all came across as too convenient and "oh look another clue just when i needed one, brilliant!" I wouldn't see it again. I thought hanks was average, mckellen was a bit pantomime and the girl was cute. Enough said! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  3. I hope you are gonna swap that ugly ass can off it if you get one?! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  4. I wouldn't!! Landing shots and stuff. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  5. Thanks for that - i really like the idea of that lens but thats an awful big lump to carry around and realistically i don't think i would use the longest 200mm of it enough to make it a good buy. Will keep it in mind for when i have the extra cash though! I got the sigma 18-50 as a standard carry around lens and think its great so far, light but good quality, if a little noisier and slower than L-series on autofocus. Coming to the conclusion that my next buys are going to be: Canon L 70-200 f4 Sigma 15mm and save up for the 300mm f2.8! But thanks to those of you who responded! 7. True - they were here for the world challenge in Bedford and my favourite memory was while everyone else was creeping and being serious, they were seeing who clould back up closest to the industrial heater we had in the creeper hangar before setting their arse on fire. Funny guys who know how not to take life too seriously! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  8. I was thinking along the lines of a 300 in old money so the 70 – 200 would probably do me pretty well I guess. Do you feel limited by the f4? This lens seems pretty reasonable on price as well. Never try to eat more than you can lift
  9. has anyone tried the sigma 14mm ultra wide? Never try to eat more than you can lift
  10. What do you guys use/ rate? (I have a 20D) I would love the Canon L series 300mm f2.8 IS but i haven't got enough kidneys to sell. Anyone have any experience of the "Bigma" 50-500 or any other long lenses that are a bit more reasonable? Never try to eat more than you can lift
  11. Totally with ya on this one - i thought this was pretty funny! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  12. What is the fin setup on those? the red one looks like it would be fun and loose as a twinnie? (and is the red one a "proper" surf board?! Never try to eat more than you can lift
  13. LOL thats funny Never try to eat more than you can lift
  14. As an aside, i have seen a load of RW suits recently with a clear digital alti pocket high up on the forearm. I kind of like this idea because it looks like it would keep the alti out of the way for grips while still being easy to see. Think i will get one on my next rw suit. 16. http://www.triumph.co.uk/usa/3565.aspx One of them - stunning, fantastic to ride. I would forget the Busa if you haven't had a sports bike before. People will say "its easy to ride slowly" Sure it is, they are probably the same people who tell you its easy to take a tiny canopy on a straight in approach. That might be true but are you likely to do it? The Busa is a 200mph motorcycle, up until a couple months ago the fastest production bike available. If you want something a bit more relaxed: CBR 600 (NOT the RR type) GSXR 600 (or better still the 750, i reckon one of the most capable bikes out there) Kawasaki 636 (old shape) Yam fazer (the R6 is pretty head down bum up) Alternative choices: Ducati supersport, SV650 or Aprilia falco if you prefer a twin, BMW "sports" bike if you err on the touring side, or any of the nakeds - Kawaski do a couple of nice ones. Pilot

I have somewhere over 200 jumps on 2 sizes, the 168 and 150. All in all i love this canopy. I demoed it, the sabre 2 and the safire 2. I preferred the opening and the flight on the pilot by miles, the openings on the sabre were terrible by comparison (safire pretty similar) I think the sabre lands very slightly better and has a slightly longer recovery arc, however this wasn't enough to even make it figure in my choices in the end, everything else about the pilot is so superior. The only thing that took a bit of getting used to was the slightly different flare stroke on the pilot, and PD owners who have borrowed mine say the brakelines are too long, but they are not, you just need to finish the flare! Would recommend the pilot time and time again.
