My son once wrote the tooth fairy a note and the tooth fairy wrote back. I was sure not to use my normal writing (he was about 6) but I made a mistake. When I cross out mistakes, I use a circular motion to draw over the mistake. I accidentally did that and he says "Look, mom, the tooth fairy crosses out her mistakes the same way you do!"

I watch the screed as I type so I catch most of my errors on-the-fly!

My husband told me as well that was why I was so tired. I gave it up for a while and I think he might have been right.... but I missed it! That "woohoo 20 more minutes" feeling I can't do without. I have lessened mine, however to only 2-3 snoozes.

My son and I go at least once a month. He gets to roam the kids section and I find a book and sit down and start reading. I sometimes go in with a list of authors when I am running out of stuff to read. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

It makes me uncomfortable if anyone tries to kiss pass me. On the ground I don't go around kissing men other than my husband and I just prefer it that way on the air. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I did my first tandem at jump #199 and all have been recurrency jumps. I have about 10 or so because I'm short and light. I sometimes get volunteered without my knowledge. It is nice to jump and then not have to pack!

With my old insurance, yes I had to get a referral. And that was no easy task.... darn docs would rather shove drugs at you! With my current insurance, I do not need a referral. And it works just like a chiropractor, they pay for like 20 visits a year. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

In the SW, mine goes back the 15th. He may start early, but right away he gets a 3 day weekend (labor day) AND he is out before memorial day. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I have had acupuncture for Migraines. I think the first time I was so nervous I GOT a migraine! Then after that I could fall asleep with the needles in me. People would ask me "what if it's all in your head" and I'd say I don't care! If it produces less migraines AND insurance pays for it, I am there! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I naturally turn my head so I can see straight with both eyes. If you see a picture of me, you will always see my right temple and not my left. All surgery would do for me is fix that head turn (I have Duane's Syndrome). I apparently am the only one that notices the head turn, not worth the surgery. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

When I moved to NM and took my driving test, I peered into the eye thing and read the letters. She told me there were more so I closed my good eye and squinted real hard and managed to get enough they passed me. Even after I said "oh there is more? Oh yes there is" they passed me. I feel very left out with those!!!!! I can see with both, but my left one won't turn so most of the time my brain ignores it. No magic eye for me! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I too have modified depth perception due to some eye issues. I have never been able to see a 3D movie with those dumb red/green glasses. I cannot hit a baseball when pitched to me but I can throw it up in the air and whack the heck out of it. I have a really tough time making baskets in basketball. Having said that, I do not have huge issues with landings. Maybe because I have been like this all my life. I cannot guage how high up I am, and have to use my altimeter to setup my landings. But I swoop my Vengeance rather nicely at a 5000 MSL DZ. Takes practice. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

Illinois is less than 1000 .... more around 700s. I moved from Illinois to 5000 DZ.... took me a few jumps to get back to landing on my feet! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I was wondering that today. We are going mountain biking this weeken. I have added a first aid kit to my essentials. I have scraped my leg and last time my hubby scraped his hand. This time we are taking my son with.... I was thinking jeans might be a good essential! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

The rate depends on where you live. I only got $35 an hour here. But working for the government, I also get $65. Somewhere like Chicago $50 is dirt cheap. It's more like $80. You pay your self-employment taxes quarterly to the IRS and it works out nicer that way. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?
