I have no desire to be on maintenance meds at such a young age. I am miserable around hairy animals. Think about if you grew up allergic to a food. Say ice cream. Every time you ate it, you threw up. Do you think you would LIKE ice cream? Even if you could eat it someday without throwing up? Doubtful. That's how I am with animals. As a child my throat would swell making it difficult to breathe. My eyes would itch and swell up. I cringe when I am around dogs and cats for that reason. Just a different perspective.... ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

My son is 10 and we haven't jumped in 5 years for that reason.... he's only young once and soon enough will not want us around! The sky awaits our return and isn't going anywhere! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I agree. My husband and son know the rule is no furry pets cause I'm allergic. I have no desire either to live miserably or waste away my salary on meds. My son isn't all that thrilled but is as understanding as one could expect. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I'll give you the crab thing... I have heard some serious grunting doing that (none for me, thanks). I am not saying I don't like finger foods, don't get me wrong. But it is the easy way out.... aren't we American's notorious for that? ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

American's are lazy. Plain and simple. Finger foods are easy to eat and easy cleanup (no utensils to wash). ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I keep my laptop on a plastic stand that props it up and keeps it better cooled. And when I use it on my lap, I sit indian style and rest the laptop on it's egdes. I guess they weren't really meant for laps! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?
