All this kitty talk must have me freaked out. I had a dream last night that my kitties got into the garage and then outside and when I tried to get them in the house, my calm one scratched me all up trying to get away. How late is too late to get them their outside shots so I can quit freaking out that they will get outside? ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I know a few people who did - got fed up with work, fed up with life, said fuck it, sold most of their stuff, hitchhiked for awhile and then ended up where ever the wind blew. And they had some of the best stories. One in particular recently moved - with a plan this time - and said he was more scared and nervous than any of the previous unplanned moves. Donate all your stuff to good will - then put one foot in front of the other. I decided in February and left in May. Maybe not a whim by some standards, but it certainly was for me. I was 25 and ready for a change. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

When I did it, the first step was finding somewhere to stay. I moved to a state/city I had previously lived in therefore I still had contacts. My friend was gone, but her Mom was here and so I stayed with her for a couple of months while I got a job and my own place. I did not have any finanical backing; in fact I had some debt at the time. Some school debt as well as a car payment. I still am not sure how I pulled that part off. It's scary, but so worth it. That was 8 years ago and I am soooo glad I did it. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

We have had our kitties for about 8 months now. I am gonna miss them so much when we go away for 2 weeks! I am gonna be sooo sad to not be with them. I wonder how long Maya will be mad at me when we return. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

All I did was get a bottle of generic allergy meds from Costco (like clariton) and take it daily. The only kicker is when allergy season hits, the meds can't seem to handle it all. My allergies are non-existant. I sometimes think I must not have allergies at all and I can stop taking them. But when we got Maya I hadn't started the meds yet and I started acting up just on the car ride home. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

Mine is a bit older (11) so the funny things are a bit different. He recently got his first cell phone. When we were waiting on a prescription, he decided I could go browse Office Max and on my way I could drop him off at Lowe's and he would browse around there. I was amused b his matter-of-fact ways. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I have always been allergic to any animal with fur. But for some reason I got a bee in my bonnett last year that I had to have a kitty. We went to a shelter and my son found Maya. She's the grey kitty. Then 2 months later I got the same bee in my bonnett that Maya needed a friend. I went to Petsmart rescue and got Lucy. They are so wonderful! They are so different from each other. Maya is easy going and nothing really phases her. Lucy is skittish and hyper but loves to curl up for a nap in my lap. I don't know what I ever did before my kitties. They don't judge, they don't hold grudges, they follow me around like I am the coolest mom in the world. ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

There were lots of fasts fights. We were joking that the guys are on their locker rooms thinking they had at least 15-20 minutes and some guy pokes his head in "Hey, you're on!" ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?

I have been feeding my kitties IAMS for kittens. I am switching them to adult food, but I just read that the IAMS food says "7+ years". I assume they mean for the age of the cat. It's IAMS Indoor. Should I use this or not? It said for indoor cats so I thought that would be good. HELP! ~ Lisa ~ Do you Rigminder?
