    sorry to burst your bubble, but the dems are at the peak of their power right now. 2010 will see the pendulum shift back the other way. dems will still maintain control of the house and the senate, but they will start to lose seats. that trend will continue until 2012 as well. right now i put obama's chances for re-election at 50/50 at best.     we wore scrubs working in muke plants. on one of my first jobs, everything got contaminated during my first jump in the drywell of the shift. i lost my underwear and had to go commando in scrubs for the rest of the shift. there was a lot of walking and a lot of sweating. the chaffing was horrible. from then on i always kept spare underwear in my bag.     we were doing good at keeping this conversation within the limits of my knowledge, but now you've gone and surpassed them. what is this "bcs formula"? i always thought that bcs conferences were bcs conferences because that's the way it was decreed in the beginning and nothing will change that. i was not aware of criteria that qualify a particular conference as "bcs" or "non-BCS". please explain. i would seed after conference championships using whatever formulas that are used currently to determine bcs ranking but with one tweak, overall win/loss record trumps the ranking. i suppose teams could petition for easier schedules, but a minimun number of conference games could be set in order for a team to be eligable. come on tom, we live in a competative society and sports is competition. if there isn't going to be a winner, what's the point?
