Hey motorcycle crew, I think I picked my first bike :)
sickandtwisted replied to grue's topic in The Bonfire
Nice. I wish the US had similar laws to prevent some )@(%@$$ from buying a Hayabusa & killing themselves & others on the first day. I started on a 50cc dirtbike & I have owned almost every cc bike up to 1000. I stopped at 1000 because (for me) it was the best mix of power & handling. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing. I learned a lot with each bike. Skymama stalker #69!!!! -

Guys: could you see yourself using this device?
sickandtwisted replied to Slowfaller's topic in The Bonfire
Race car drivers have been using them for years. Skymama stalker #69!!!! -
I agree...except I was 20 in 1989. I doubt that Rosa was old enough to go out with me. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

That's ok I totalled my bike when I was 16...that was 1986. I was born in 1969. The accident happened before my 17th birthday. I walked away without a scratch. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

The only difference between your picture on the motorcycle & me in the 80s is my bike was blue. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

Not a chance. If you think that you spent a lot of time working on the big hair. Try riding a motorcycle in the 80's. I had to plan on arriving a couple of hours early to fix the hair. And don't get me started on the effects of football helmets on the hair. Thank God the USMC made me cut it. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

My clicker is part of the key. The other day I wanted to leave my car running while I ran into the convience store. I took my key ring off of my car key, stepped out of the car & realized that the clicker was still in the ignition. Luckily for me I noticed while the doors were unlocked. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

Not closed. But I am not sure that it is 100%. Sorry, I'm am just the messenger. I hope that Mike is smarter than that. I have a feeling that he knows how lucky he is (except for the whole job 1/2 way around the world). Skymama stalker #69!!!!

MMMMMM! Viper was my favorite ride before they moved it out of Atlanta. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

Do you know that Acrophobia got struck by lightening a couple of years ago? Since then, the ride has been closed longer than opened. The last time I rode it there were a lot of washers & cotter pins laying on the ground below the ride. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

Glad to help. Although the clothes were a little less restrictive visible during the day. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

We did the jump successfully a few times on dirt bikes, but quit after one of my friends almost became a hood ornament at the bottom of the hill. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

Yes. It was. But I didn't think that it was so SUPER after that. I should have used a Baja bug. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

I think that we have hijacked this thread enough. The dumbest thing that I can recall occurred just after I bought my first car. I got the idea to make the "Dukes of Hazard" jump. The one that opened the show (next to the fertilizer plant). The sheriffs deputy that showed up could hardly talk on the radio because he was laughing so hard. I had to replace the motor mounts, most of the suspension, & I had to get a lot of welding done to the frame. Not the smartest thing to do in a 1969 VW Bug. Skymama stalker #69!!!!

Trey just hooked up a new student rig last weekend. I had to show the packers how to get a shiny...slick @#%@#$@# new 230 canopy into the d-bag/container. Skymama stalker #69!!!!
