Small stuff counts, too. - Let someone in ahead of you in standing traffic - Be polite and kind to merchants, clerks and similar even when you're feeling stressed - Leave bigger-than-normal tips - Do something nice for someone that isn't expecting it The sum-total of happiness in the universe goes up microscopically...but it goes up shall

Terrific ! It's a great feeling, hmm ? shall

That's why I love my new home DZ. Safety-conscious folks that always use good practice. They do things *lots* smarter than we used to, in the day! shall

This one isn't my best friend or anything... shall -
That's the funniest thing I've ever read ! It's a cathedral / stained-glass thing for me. Has nothing to do with the Village People. shall

A'right, a'right. You guys keep jumping your purple and puce canopies ! Sheesh.. what is is with the stock (vomit) colors on those canopies ? Cheers, freeflir ! shall

:4:1 4 great jumps on the new rig. 3 hop and pops and one great RW jump where we took a 3-way off the strut and it friggin' worked ! I have postponed my decision to join a gym. Just packing this new slippery-&^% canopy 5 times was a workout. Someday I may be able to get it in the deployment bag without assistance. shall

Why, that should be self-evident ! I have actually been measured as being 6 inches taller, 20 points higher in IQ and having a rakish, devil-may-care appearance when I'm wearing this rig. That's enough for me .... shall
-
Like this one ? shall
-
Oh that's funny ! I'll try to grab a shot of the main while I'm under canopy today and post that. I'll bet that smoke the student canopies... well, hoping it will, anyway! Cheers ! shall

Yeah, the packing attempts ought to be a laugh riot! See ya! And Grue, congrats, man! shall

Ooooo. It's a new Vector 3, new custom Sabre 2-190 and a PDR 176 reserve. It was just killin' me to leave it with Danny, the rigger, yesterday ! Ah well. Next weekend! We will attempt the sit-fly! We will attempt the graceful, flared landing ! And we will try to get 190 square feet of what feels like oiled Slip'n Slide into the deployment bag ! shall

Gahh. I wish I could remember the song. Probably a nice early 60s soul tune. But I remember the girl ! Peggy (something). Summer camp. I was 9, I guess. My parents saved the postcard I sent home after that. Among other things, it asked: "Did you know that girls are warm ?" And how ! shall

Bastard! Mine's in, but won't be packed and ready 'til next weekend. Have fun, man ! shall

QuoteI passed the B exam! So the B license is now "in the mail", so to speak... YAY! Quote Congratulations ! Now they'll let you jump out of the super-secret sky-god planes. Have fun! shall

That's so funny! Sadly, I guess I'll have at least one cutaway on this beauty -- I've retired from romance. Maybe I can postpone that cutaway until I'm 80 or so... shall
-
Well, I could leave it *in the boxes* and never use it, but I'm guessing that's not what you meant. Does it involve something arcane like drinking a pint of beer while wearing only the new rig and singing "Blood on the Risers" ? Lemme know -- I moonlight as "Mr. Safety". shall

Since I just got my new Vector and my new Sabre 2 !

what was the very first 45,album,cassette,or cd you ever owned?
shall555 replied to caress's topic in The Bonfire
Heh. The first album I ever *wore out* was The Brothers Four's first album. Ok, so I'm a folkie... so sue me. Later (*lots later) I got to meet them, built their first web site for them and they let me play bass with them during the sound check before a concert. Whee ! shall
