I went to Titusville once. Had a bad experience, discussed it with them, left and have never gone back or referred anyone to them. It has cost them ever since. That being said, you are out of place to bring a persons size or gender into the conversations as it has no relevance on the subject except to be hurtful. As to your rights at the DZ, they are only what the DZO gives you. Skydiving is a privilege, not a right. Any DZO has the same right as any other business to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Has really good pickup because if you floor it both the electric and the gas engage. I have never had a problem pulling away when I need to. I did get the extended warranty though because as Eric said the days of you fixing your car are over. It has three computers a high voltage battery bank and a synergy drive transmission. Where did this information come from? I OWN a Prius and have about 21K on it. I can go up to 38mph on batteries and the fuel consumptions reads 99.9 because it is not using any fuel. As far as highway driving it runs at about 65-70MPG at 55 and 50MPG at 70. Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!

The Toyota Prius totally rocks. It is a true hybrid and gets a consistent 54MPG. Mine has about 22,000 miles on it now. The seats could be more comfortable and the radio is just okay but I like everything else about the car. I would also buy another one. Hope this helps, stay safe, Mike Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is!

Aircraft emergency exit - do you pay your ticket?
MikeForsythe replied to jerry81's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Not true at all. You paid for a lift ticket, a plane ride. There is no DZ in the world that sells tickets based on the type of jump each skydiver wants to make on that load (and no I am not talking about specialty jumps). It is very clear that your original post was nothing more than a deception to start arguments and bash people by telling them that if there opinion is different than yours they are wrong. You asked for peoples opinions and they gave them and in return you bashed them. I have read post here by people that will forget more about skydiving than you will ever know given your attitude on this thread. They have tried to give you insight, personal experience and guidance that have fallen on deaf ears. And to answer your opinion that you asked for, no I don’t think you should get a refund. I have had to make three emergency exits and I learned invaluable information from them that could not be otherwise bought or learned for the price of a lift ticket. So in the end I received a greater benefit than I paid for. Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is! -

So let me see if I understand you, if everyone were to disagree with YOUR view then there is something wrong with them? NOT!!! Some people might be perfectly content with the jump, that does not mean that anything is wrong with them. Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is! -

What are your rules of your life and how you live it?
MikeForsythe replied to MikeForsythe's topic in The Bonfire
Mango Mike's rules to life, 1. I don't ever live any place colder than the inside of my refrigerator. 2. If you are asleep I will let you sleep, do the same for me. 3. Live by the golden rule (the real one) 4. Water is always allowed to be replaced by anything with rum in it. 5. If there is no rum margaritas are an acceptable replacement. 6. Mi Casa es Su Casa 7. Let your children live, they will have your grandchildren and that is one of Gods greatest gifts. 8. When sending your grandchildren home, give them Skittles and GoFast, it is revenge on your children! 9. Listen more than you talk, you will lean more and be less obnoxious. 10. Be reverent, love as much as you can and leave the world a better place. Time and pressure will always show you who a person really is! -
