[ If your back continues to bother you, maybe you should think about getting some Shiatsu Message sessions. I had injured my back in a car accident a few months ago and have recently started going to Shiatsu Therapy, although the therapy itself hurts like hell, it has really really helped. Feel Better

I just got an Infinity, it’s beautiful. Congrats, you’re going to love it. Oh…by the way, wait till you get to pack that brand new rig, now that’s a lot of fun, oh yeah, I’d put it right up there with sticking needles in my eyes. Enjoy

Getting the canopy smaller to pack
Candy replied to skydivermom's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
That guy makes it look easy! Maybe I'll try that. I got a brand new rig last week, I've been practicing packing (well, trying to practice packing) for the last few days.....I can't even get it into the bag. I AM SOOOOO FRUSTRATED!!! -
Do you think so…………… shit, I like those colors. That’s something to think about though. I talked to my rigger on the phone today and he said I had a couple of days to think about it if I want to change my mind, I think I’ll get on a canopy coloring program and check it out. Guess what color my new container is…… Black on black, with a little black and some gray.
-
I just this weekend ordered my new canopy, I ordered it with 5 white cells, 2 gray cells and then 2 black cells. My rigger has tried desperately to change my mind on the white, after reading this I am considering changing it, although I do want the white. How about all black????

Well, good luck to everybody on this. Just remember the important thing is bringing awareness to breast cancer. I won’t be jumping for the cause, but I will be driving for it. In November I’m driving in the Women’s ProROCK Championships, a “Crawl for the Cure”. Good Luck Ladies…..and jump your little asses off. Candy

Andrea, it was very kind of you to stop and try to help, I'm sure that the dogs family would appreciate that. A few years ago my dog Alli got out and was hit and killed by a car. The Sheriffs Dept. came to my house the next day to tell us that our dog had been hit and where we could find her, they were able to find us because of her tag number. We went and got her, she was laying on the side of the road, it just looked like she was laying there sleeping. There was a note folded and tucked into her collar, it was written by a man who had witnessed her getting hit by the car. He said by the time he pulled over and ran to her, she was already gone. He just wanted us to know that it happened quickly and that she did not suffer. God Bless that man. Candy

Your high school sweet heart: where is she/he now ?
Candy replied to cocheese's topic in The Bonfire
He died a couple years ago. It broke my heart when my friend called and told me that. I don't think you ever forget your first love. -
I live in a house that sits alone out in the country, it was built in 1923. I can't say that I've ever had a ghostly encounter, but.....there is one room (a hallway/passage way) toward the rear of the house that I feel very uncomfortable in, I have since we moved here four years ago, I rarely use that hallway and never at night. When I do walk through there, I walk quickly always looking straight ahead, I have even caught myself snapping my fingers nervously as I walk through. Most of the time I'll walk all the way around the house instead of walking the eight steps through that hallway. Weird huh.

Headache... from high altitiude?
Candy replied to skydivefive's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
It used to be pretty common for me to get a headache after a few jumps, I’d usually start getting one on the drive home, most of the time I’d just turn up the music so I could'nt hear my head pound. I finally realized that I had been getting dehydrated, I’ve been drinking a lot more fluids throughout the day, especially now that it’s hot, keeping myself hydrated I haven’t been having any headaches. I have felt a little light headed at altitude a few times, but I’ve always felt fine once I got back on the ground. Did you talk to your doctor about possible sinus problems? Hope you feel better. -
Tell him that you met some of the neighbors the other day, while taking to them you heard that it is rumored that his room is haunted.

That is precious, a great picture. Right on Beth!!!

I got a new helmet last month, I put it on in the car for a few minutes on the way home, I couldn't help it I was so excited. My husband was telling me to take it off, I kept telling him "C'mon man, get her up to 120 and open up that sunroof, I wanta test this thing out".
-
Right on Grue, glad your dad enjoyed the ride, that's cool he is planning on continuing when he gets home. I was able to go up with two of my nieces when they went on their first tandems, one of them had never even been in a plane before, it was so much fun.

That movie was Stupid, Gross and Foul..........I LOVED IT!!!

Well, if you could shave your girlfriends initials into it….that would be too much, or if women and young children run away screaming when you take your shirt off…..that would probably be too much to. ChrisL "Yep, it says he has a strong back, not much else." To me it says a lot, it says he is strong, active and healthy….and I think that is very sexy.

A strong muscular back says a lot about a man.
