    You're right - 16 pounds - My bad - I switched to a 15 pound ball - I'd be exhausted after a five-game practice session. So I've got this 16-pound Hammer sitting around collecting dust. mm - An explosion or something at least visually exciting to look at. Must get video of course! Easy Does It

    Not sure of this should have gone in the General forum of here, fingered I'd put it here first - Seems like we'll have a couple 2-pin Cypres' expiring over the next year. Looking for ideas for stuff to build with them to toss out of airplanes. Since we've got 2 cutters to work with, we can get a little elaborate. Basic idea is for something we can chuck out the door over the DZ high enough for the Cypres to arm and fire, then release/deploy/detonate what ever we build. One Cypres is ready to go, one expires in about a year (gives me plenty of time to build and do preliminary testing.) Need some really cool-ass ideas! I've also go a 20 pound bowling ball, access to welding and machining equipment, and plenty of sources for raw materials. Easy Does It

    Yep - Me too - One of my sisters sang it a capella at my first wedding. The one tune that hits me in the heart the most though is Taps, especially when I hear it at a funeral. Easy Does It

    Never had a slider hoplessy stuck, but have had a few that needed a bit of coaxing to come down. ( rear risers works for me-) Easy Does It

    I've done the same - No problems - One TSA screener asked me if I had a laptop in there - I had to chuckle and respectifully told him it was a sport rig. He said "oh, Cool!" and just ran it through the X-Ray. His supervisor was there and noticed what it was, then called some of the other screeners over for some quick OJT - He pointed out the Cypres to them, etc. I was totally blown away. I think this was at the Orlando airport. Easy Does It

    Esau would like to extend his sincere thanks to everyone for thier good vibes and prayers when he got his eye operated on last March. He had a strabismus (sp?) condition and his left eye was way out of line. The operation was a complete success. He just got an exam and the doc syas the alignment is perfect So big THANKS! from Esau!!

    I've had a brake come unstowed several times, canopy started spiraling right on deployment. I was quick to identify the problem and popped the other brake, back to normal flight. This was on a Spectre 150 loaded around 1:3 to 1. Easy Does It

    I got medical insurance through my employer and I know it's pays for skydiving injuries - (unfortunately I had to learn the hard way-) I still had "losses" in the form of vacation time I used to heal instead of taking a real vacation, and reduced income during the period I spend recovering.     Go get your stuff - Take a friend with you, especially if he may be prone to violent actions. There's this stuff you can get at the drugstore called sodium citrate (or something like that - ) Great laxitive and virtually undetectable when mixed with 7-Up or Sprite. Works quickly, too. Tell him you need to use the washroom while you're there picking up your stuff - Good chance to violate his personal things as you see fit. But seriously - Just like others have mentioned before me, Just hold your head high , turn your pretty head and walk away from it all. Karma is a real mutherfucker, he'll get his. Treat yourself to something extra-special (as special as you can afford) for Christmas. Then look at it this way - You're starting the New Year without the hassle of his B.S. Like a nice clean sheet of paper - Have Fun with that! Easy Does It

    You got that right. I moved here from WNY (near Buffalo) in 1996. That sucked worse. I would love to find a plastics company some where down south that needs a good maintenace tech/supervisor. Winters are getting to suck more and more every year. I am looking at tickets to Puerto Rico right now for the boogie. Can't go but it helps keep me warm. Easy Does It

    Very poorly vinted home made Elderberry wine - The most vile stuff I've ever tried to imbibe. At a bachelor party for a friend - I was the first to take a pull off the bottle - I horked all over the place. The bottle was supposed to go around the room, but after I spewed, that idea died very quickly. Easy Does It

    Zoe definitely has that "I am Queen of all I survey" look about her! You probably already know this, but raccoons have a nasty way of carrying nasty little maladies like rabies - Might want to keep Zoe clear, just in case! Easy Does It
