Michelle- You'll love Bev. Bev rocks my world. Never had a problem with her at all. BOught an FX suit from her over a year ago, she rebuilt the booties for me in a weeks turnaround time, has called me personally to let me know when it's shipped, etc etc. and it's sewn together well enough that people have picked me up by my grippers and carried me around.

7 new teammates:1:1 Looks like I'm doing some 8way this season!! Flying the Rear Inside slot as of now. The knights didn't reconize me from that little funnelling incident a few seasons ago, so all looks good! Watch out Nationals, Evil Stacy is coming!!!!

nope. in a nice pool actually at a DZ members' home. clean, clear. of course the parachute kinda turned the water pinkish, but oops...

400 is newer by far. 4'99 and 8'99 were released quite some time ago. haven't seen 400 yet, but have heard only good things about it.

There is also water training being offered on Saturday @ 5 PM with Eric. I believe it is like $10 and they will take you to a local pool. Water training is always good for a few laughs.

I spoke with Brian at WFFC about the samurai. He knew I flew a jedei as he'd just done the reline for me, and freefly offered to build me a new jedei if I didn't like the samurai as much. Brian's awesome.

close to the DZ (you'll still need a car though) there is a grocery store with a deli and a walgreens (drug store). a little further is a subway, stuckeys and mcdonalds is further down yet. ordering pizza doesn't involve a car and is done frequently, at least last summer it was.

yes, the air is different in Canada, of course, so freefall maneuvers will be totally different in american or otherwise air. of course in america skydivers also jump parachutes 1/2 the size of the canadian ones because of that difference. we use ponds for accuracy instead of tuffets as well. (/sarcasm)

it's just too bad the booze cruise got landlocked. funny, i was in deland last summer, and ther eis still a big empty spot in the ground where that totem pole used to be....

I've pretty much got my dream gear, after 2 years with "I"ll settle" gear. My new odyssey, PD126 reserve (perhaps i'd prefer a color other than pink, but well... i'm not gonna be picky about color. i'll be happy if i need it to open!), and my jedei 136. perhaps one day i'll get a samurai instead of the jedei, but i'm pretty content!

4 or 5 otters and sometimes a porter at zhills, i "grew up" with an otter/caravan/skyvan/biplane/182. yep, it's FL, want a different plane to jump? drive for an hour or so to the next turbine DZ. the epitome of "spoiled-ness." -
