I was sleeping. I am a responsible skydiver. Or at least I was yesterday. 2 beers, one SPark, and a jello cocktail. in bed by 11 PM. I'm getting old. or just saving myself for a tremendous display of debauchery at the easter boogie....

hey i tried to get to the doc. anyway, the best part was that i got a student nurse at the hospital. she apparently wasn't into studying very much and liked to play with expensive medical equipment, ie the machine that was strategically filtering 4 meds into my PIC Line. two of tehm would literally crystalize my veins if they had any overlap. needless to say, she didn't last long. Clay- WTF, called me at 3 AM!!! i hope your ringing phone woke you up at 7:30 NM time!

you have to guard my tent outside to make sure travis doesn't pee on it while i'm sleeping. since you are doing the 120 ways, i know you will not be drinking any beer (ha) and will be up all night "visualizing" anyway, so might as well make yourself useful.

2 friends almost arrested by the zephyrhills police due to a hotel mishap (what fun!):6:0 6 8 ways on Saturday. Weather was GORGEOUS. about 85ish sunny, clear, 5 mph winds ish... perfect day for skydiving @ zHills. muff bro party was pretty entertaining. Happythoghts made a batch of jello shots, but bought the wrong size cups so they were more like jello cocktails. Also tried to mix red and green, making some nasty looking puce ones. =c)

similar thing happened to me. january of 95 (was still in high school), got sick in my last class. blamed it on something i ate, etc. went on a ski trip. got worse. had an RN with us, she did the push test and didn't indicate appendicitis. had a really sharp pain that night, had flu-like symptoms but no fever for a week. taht winter some awful flu bug was going around, so the doc didn't want to see me in the office. Finally went to the ER. they did some scans and hmmm, couldn't find my appendix. WBC count was up over 36,000. i went 2 weeks with it ruptured. at that point it was too messed up inside to do surgery, i had to get IV Meds 24/7 for 2 weeks and get the masses of toxins removed a month later. Some of the docs at Hopkins wrote some articles on me.

5 out 3 in is most common. This is hard to explain in typing, but I'll try to reiterate what Chris Talbert (GK) did with us on Sunday. Insiders lead with left foot in a really relaxed stance (a change from the crouched down, scrunched in the door method!). I fly rear inside, I was told to almost aim my head through the floor of the plane. That slot needs to get out and down to help the last two floaters pull the chunk down. We were told that an ideal exit has the front floaters just stepping off the plane, not having to move "upwards" at all. As for grip management on exit I think that varies form team to team. I know as rear inside I take grips on the shoulders (grips not harness or chest strap) of the middle floater and second to last rear floater. center inside has one grip on my leg, etc down the line. Launching this way opens up very easily into most of the randoms. of course, it would be worth a laugh to launch an 8 way cat out of the otter....
