-
and then took me to dinner at your parents, where i had to wake you up again mid conversation. I'm a point up now!

And then there are the ones who "FORGET" to pick people up at the airport. I'd have to name a few people who have been gems to me in the last year or so. Galen, Kris, Clay, Dagny, and MikeForsythe, Katiebear and SkyMOnkeyOne are fabulous.

Hahn makes a great chard as well, not overdone on the oak which i HATE. Very affordable, and suprisingly good.

I bet tehre is a gorgeous view up there. I went to Ithaca College for 2 years and the area is pristine with all the waterfalls and gorges....

we tried two excellent pinot noirs (and bought them) at a tasting last month- ONe was a Rusack and the other was a David Bruce. Both in the $20-25 range. Fab-U-Lous.

I'm glad that my face doesn't still look like ground beef. No one ever recognized me after rantoul.

I'm moving in with one. HOwever, we met before dz.com, and he really only likes me because my shirt flew off in the wind tunnel.

It seems like CK site gets revamped, but then never updated. booooo!! I used to do weekly updates/pictures and had a hidden party picture section too. used to like reading the message board there too. __________

calling over there is probably a better bet.

For a first time jumpI'd definitely recommend Sebastian to you. The view is unparalleled and Wendy is wonderful there.

I live in Sarasota... there isn't a DZ to my knowledge here. Closest is LaBell down near Ft Meyers and ZHills northeast of tampa. ______
-
Where in NJ? Go down to Cross Keys and jump now. Lots of college aged jumpers there I'll bet. ____
-
My last jump was on NY Eve 2004. Since then life has become more *alive* with things to worry about, family issues, and just taking general responsibility for myself and my future. Maybe I'll come back, maybe I won't. I'm selling things as they become innappropriate choices for a return after my time off. For example, after 6 months off a samurai was no longer an appropriate main canopy, so I sold it. I'll probably never sell my helmet & suit as the tunnel is too easily accessible here. Que sera sera. Life changes, people change. ___

Wow!!! THat's kinda awesome! -
Jims.... mmmm..... that place RULED. After living in Philly for a few years, I can't even look at steakumms without thinking foul thoughts.
-
you could also try cross keys. spend hte night in either Philly of Atlantic City, make a jump then plenty of party options. the DZ is hopping on weekends too. Cross Keys is a fabulous place, good people and awesome facilities. Philly & AC speak for themselves.

I asked for the elastic stirrup/strap when I ordered my Majik suit and Bev was glad to accomodate. Just mention it and she'll do it.
-
My bev suit with the Majik options (grippers/booties, etc) has been absolutely bullet proof. 400 jumps and 7+ hours of tunnel and it still is like new. No seam problems at my end.

Most of my favorite memories were from our time working in manifest together. Sara had a work ethic like no other I've ever seen. While the rest of us were plotting how to get out and make a few jumps, sara just pounded away at whatever there was to do. I remember her and another coworker who had about hte same number of jumps literally fighting over who would get a falcon award first. Sara literally ran out of manifest one morning, grabbed myself nad two other inexperienced people (who had a few hundred jumps, but had no business organizing a brand-new-A-license-holder first 4way) and putting us on teh creepers, and tellign us very assertively that we shold tell her where to go, what to grab, and we had better get at least 4 points. THe whole spectacle was pretty funny. ___________________

It's actually not bad here today. Last night was really wet and breezy, but we're pretty much just getting scattered downpours here with an occasional pick up of wind. I just drove home from Galens and had no problems, everything is open (Even the landscaping store!!) and people are going about normal business here. It's just an ugly day. _____________________

Speaking of when Sara only had 40 jumps... I remember when her and Emmet (another manifest person who worked with us) were racing to get Falcon awards first. It was hilarious. sigh. __
